I just
read the updates from the last several days and it is now clear to me
why Ben and you have been on my mind so intensely! I will count it now
more than ever a privilege to call out Ben's name to the Father. I think
about how it must sound to Him, hearing Ben's name from so many lips! I
am thanking Him for what He is doing and for the strength He gives as
you are being a willing child. Thank you for not putting on pretenses
but for sharing your pain even though it must be so difficult. Your
honesty is so encouraging...being real is such a painful thing to do,
yet it allows me and so many others to bear with you in your burdens and
rejoice with you as well... Waiting for a miracle and believing with you

Good
morning, There are no coincidences in God's working. Meeting the promise
keepers folks at Fridays is just another example of God's mercy and
grace towards His children. A change in dinner plans brings about the
prayers of 7000 in unity for Ben and the family. Psalm 19:1 The heavens
declare the glory of God. Romans 5:2" rejoice in the in the hope of the
glory of God" He is working a great work through your son and family.
His ways are so far above our ways. The question of why will only be
answered in His presence but we will pray that you all can take rest in
the knowing of Who it is and the vastness of His love for your family
and Ben. His suffering is not in vain. We will pray for the absorbtion
to be quick and easy so that Ben may rest easy and his parents can see
the pain subside.

I am the
pastor of Village Baptist Chruch near Magnolia Arkansas, Tom you gave me
thursdays St. Jude ID bracelet that I brought back with me. Our men that
met you at Promise Keepers, Fri. and Sat. wanted me to contact you and
let you know that we are praying for Ben, we are praying for You, we are
praying for Jennifer, and we are also praying for Eli, as you all need
God's strength, God's peace, and you all need to feel the outpouring of
Love that many have for you. Know that Village Fire Dept. (volunteer)
will be lifting you up in prayer also. I am asking the church that God
has given me to shepherd to put a copy of ben's ID bracelet in their
prayer closet to remind them each day to lift each of you up to the one
true God, who can do all things through Christ. We pray for the healing

I am so
encouraged by the results of Ben's CT! I am amazed at the way God keeps
thrusting Ben and your family into the spotlight. Heaven only knows the
hundreds of thousands of prayers that have been offered on your behalf.
What a stage He is setting to display His power! I am thankful that He
is meeting your needs daily, as well. I pray the platelet transfusion

Jenn: Just as prayers are lifted daily & urgent calls are made to God in
Ben's name, praise must surely be lifted also for his grace & favor.
Certainly we cannot understand why a child suffers & faces such a
battle, but there are many other things we know that are equally beyond
our understanding. That God loves us, knew us before we were formed, &
directs our paths & steps. That the same God who hung the stars hears &
knows what we need before we ask. That the same spirit that raised Jesus
from the dead lives in us & that He is our very present help in time of
need. Your meeting with PK's was designed, just as the 1,000s of PK's
praying for your baby was designed just when you needed an army to
manifest. Rest in the Lord & wait patiently for him, trust him & He
shall bring it to pass. Believing & standing with you, T&N.

I saw
Ben's story on wowk tv and my heart went out yo him and to you his

Hey Ben!
Guess what? You are gonna be FAMOUS tomorrow here in the little town of
Lavalette! I fixed a big ole Pepsi banner telling about the rummage/hot
dog sale in Wayne on Saturday & put a GREAT BIG picture of YOU on it! I
will take a picture of it tomorrow and email it to you! We are going to
also put another one in Wayne. The landscape will be brighter with your

Hi Ben
and family. I watched your video clip and have read several of your
entries. You will all be in our prayers and we will be checking in on
you. Our son is a brain tumor survivor. He too had a tumor in the center
of his brain. He had a CPC which luckily had not spread to his spinal
column. They were able to do miracle surgery and he too had some of the
same chemo and 31 radiation treatments. We feeled blessed each and every
day of our lives and it has led us to a clearer understanding of what
life is about. We will keep you all in our prayers and hope for the

Jennifer, Sharing your story with someone new tonight, I was trying to
capture how amazed I am by your willingness to surrender to the hands of
the Potter. When I think of you I envision the most beautiful pitcher I
could possibly imagine on the Potter's wheel. The pitcher is slightly
tipped and it is constantly pouring our His living water to all that
surround it. I believe that your Promise Keepers experience is just one
(amazing) example of God re-filling your pitcher. I don't understand why
a little one must suffer, but Big Ben seems to have been formed by the
Potter with a resiliance that few of us can imagine. I continue to pray
for a miracle that will stun the medical community and give glory to our

to be uplifted by, by what most days is not great news. The HOPE in your
HEART always touches me. For the past few weeks, I see Ben in every
little boy I come in contact with. I see healthly bodies and then I see
Ben's broken body and I as a Mom and as a Grammy, just begin to journal
and ask GOD WHY....In the two of you all I see is 2 beautiful people

Like Dad,
I have gotten chills all over the last few times I have read these
updates.... even in the face of all of this, to know that something SO
big is at work is beyond peace-inspiring... it is AWESOME. Yesterday I
watched a church service on TV from Southland, our church here in
Lexington. It was all about the simplicity of being a kid and what it is
to have childlike faith-- no analysis, no clouding with adult fears, no
questioning... just simple, unwavering faith and awe. Tom and Jennifer,
even though you admit your weak moments, I have seen this faith in you
guys and I am inspired-- for life.
