I have
been closely following Ben's progress. As I read the update tonight I
pray for Ben and the entire family that God will step in and heal Ben.
But, I also pray for God's grace and wisdom for all of you. God can do
all things! My family believes along with you that with God all things
are possible!! Be strong and know that people are praying for Big Ben.

Bowens, My daughter Catie is just a tad older than your Ben. She was
diagnosed w/ medulloblastoma on her first birthday and is fighting hard.
I wanted to offer you some encouragement about the bleed. Catie had many
complications following surgery to remove her tumor. One of these
complications caused 2 brain bleeds. I was terrified and watched ever
move she made. I used the little flashlight to do neurochecks on her
eyes, etc. We were so blessed that God allowed her body handled the
bleeds on it's own. As far as we can tell, no damage was done by them. I
wanted you to hear from someone whose child had a bleed and had things
be ok. It is my prayer that Ben's body "handles" the bleed on its own,
that the tumor only appears larger, and that God will provide you little
one with complete healing here on earth. Praying for mom, dad, and Eli
too as I know you are all in the fight with Ben. Praying for our little

kind of like a feeling that you may need some prayer. I have enjoyed

Jennifer, I first knew of your site from Kathie Lee Giffords web site.
That was over a month ago and since then I have probably read and
bookmarked 100 sites of kids at St Jude's. Ben's is the first one I
check each day and then I find myself checking back all during the day.
I have a home business, so I can sit down to the computer often. I feel
like your family is my family. I find myself just breathing a prayer for
you over and over. Ben is so adorable. I have a 5 year old grandson, who
has lived with me since birth. I just cannot even imagine the horror of

I have
been keeping up with Ben's Story everyday and I am sorry about this
recent sad news. I'm sure everything will work out the way that it is
supposed to for Ben. He is such an amazing kid and ya'll are an amazing
family. I will be visiting St. Jude this weekend with the rest of the
TCU Up Til Dawn exec. Your family has given me a great determination and
drive for next years fundraising efforts. I can't wait to see this
amazing hospital for my 3rd visit and your family is always in my

First off I love the new videos. The boys look so adorable and you both
look great!
I just read the update. I'm praying specifically that the blood will
dissipate and be absorbed naturally by Bens body.
This is only a bump. Sometimes we seem to just get worn down from such a
bumpy curvy road. We wish so much for a straight, smooth narrow road. We
wish for the "normal". I in no way pretend to know why Ben, Hanna,
Taylor, Jophie, and so many of the other little ones are made to travel
these bumpy roads. I do know this. God loves our children so very much.
His word promises us he will never leave us nor forsake us! Thank God
for that because I know I myself could not go on otherwise.
Make no mistake. No matter how bumpy the road, he is way ahead of us
already paving the road and arming us for the battle. I think situations

Well just
couldn't sleep..... Way to much on the brain so thought I would stop by
again to check on yall and let you know we are all playing the waiting
game. I sure pray this week leads to better news for both of our
families. I am praying so hard that GOD just give all these families
some peace and comfort. I know all to well the craziness of this disease
but I also know GOD is the GREAT and MIGHTY PHYSICIAN and he is the
HEALER of all. Sometimes these doctors just have no idea they are only
assuming.... GOD KNOWS!!!!! Just know I am praying long and hard for all

I loved
the pictures they all are so good. Eli and Ben are so handsome I could
eat them. I was reading your guestbook last evening. Your friend Bill
Sheils, I love the way he thinks and supports your family. He is one
good friend to you. Still praying for the bleed and Bens over all well
being. For peace while the doctors decide what options are best for Ben.
Waiting can make you crazy. But hopefully they are checking each and
ever option. Maybe like Bill said. Maybe it is mad enough to just leave.
Its last effort to remind us how great life is. And return Ben back to a
