Dear Tom
and Family... My name is Robert Quinones and I am an advisor for the Up
Til Dawn Program raising money for St. Jude. We met and spoke for a
while in the library at target house at the collegiate leadership
conference and I have been visiting your website ever since. I can't
tell you how much seeing your beautiful lil boy has affected me. Each
day I think about what he is going through and how he still manages to
dawn that great smile. I have a 21 month old and I guess thats why Ben
sticks out in my mind. He was 3 months premature and I know what 3
months in the hospital did to me so my prayers are always with you. Ben
is my inspiration to get this Up Til Dawn program up and running. I
refer to him each time I speak to students about getting involved in the
fund raising effort...and if possible lend support to family's like
yours. My thoughts and prayers are with you...take care...Give Ben a

Haven't
signed your guestbook before, but BIG Ben and the Bowen family are
always in my prayers. God is hearing our prayers and looking down on BIG
Ben with love and tenderness. He feels every pain, every sick moment in
BIG Ben's life. We are all human and tend to question God why things
happen, but just asking that He wrap you all in his loving arms and give
you peace, rest and a calm so sweet and great that you won't know what's
happened. Praying that His healing hand will touch BIG Ben in a mighty
way. Tom, I heard you speak at the "Seize the Moment" Crusade in
Chesapeake and your message was so inspiring; I will never forget it.

I've
spent the last half hour catching up on Ben's story. I've been out of
town for a few weeks, so I've been out of touch. Ben is such a
remarkable boy that I missed knowing his progress. It seems there were
many ups and downs during this time, but as always, the family has
weathered the storm with faith more solid that most can imagine. I am
awestruck at the strength and wisdom God is pouring over all of you. Eli
is a trooper and a blessing to his parents and his little brother as
well. What grace God has given such a tiny boy to hold his brother's
hand and be there even when he can't fully comprehend the depth of all
that is going on around him. God is good and faithful and will continue
to be so to his faithful servants. May many blessings be cast upon
you...I am prayerful that God will continue to receive all of the glory

tuned on the television this morning and saw a very adorable little boy
on the screen. I said "I know him" and guess what!?!? IT WAS YOU!!! It
was a St Jude's commercial and I just happened to turn it on right when

I think
it's great that families at St. Jude support one another. When dealing
with your own trials it would be hard to step up for others in need, yet
you all just do it. I loved the segments on Ben last week. I missed
Mondays, but will get to see todays. I watch through tears of saddness
and admiration. Tom, Jennifer, Eli, and Ben are all such inspirations.

Bowen family, I was just reading "Daily Wisdom" and how this woman kept
a rock with her name written on top of it and underneath the rock were
the words "Giant Killer". Like David, each of us has our "Giants" and
for Ben this cancer is his Giant. But for every Giant there is Jesus as

great to talk to Jennifer the other day! I have been praying through the
prayer requests that you have given me... I know that God will answer. I
wish that I could sent a little playmate out for Eli, but I am confident

have two kids of my own, and I would never know what to say. I do
believe that god is looking down on you and nows he wants you to live
