Everytime
I read the updates I have a picture of Ben sleeping in my arms at the
Manns farm. It brought me back to when Eileen was a baby and into the
future when I am blessed with grandchildren. Jennifer I will never
forget when he woke up ~ finally! ~ looked at me and then saw you and
reached out to you. What love and trust in his eyes. I think about all
of you throughout the day ~loved Eli's big boy haircut. Sending lots of
good vibes to Memphis ~ Barbara.

read your update on the reports from yesterday and I am so happy for
you. I know that seems strange to be happy since you still have the
tumor, but since I know what you are up against I think that it is

I attend
RC3 & have been so blessed by your families testimony. I have wanted to
sign your guestbook so many times, but I wanted to wait until I could
think of the right thing to say. However, I realized that I am a dork,
and that moment rarely comes - so why wait? So, I want to let you know
how your family amazingly brings the metaphor of being "one church
family" to life. We have never officially met, but I am filled with love
for your family. When you were at church a couple weeks ago, I wanted to
run around the church rejoicing. Thanks for believing and sharing your

always says that praise precedes the victory. We find ourselves daily

here's a thought per your update. There is a 9 yr. old boy in Tifton GA
diagnosed with cancer on Christmas Eve. His church set up a 'Prayer
Beeper' with a toll free number. When you call 1-877-546-0248, there is
a message from the pastor of the church. The caller is instructed to
enter 733#. The numbers are the number of letters in the phrase -
praying for you. The intent of this beeper is that the little boy (Joe)
is wearing it and it's set to vibrate. Each time it vibrates, he knows
someone has just prayed for him. What a wonderful way for you and
Jennifer to be reminded that we are all out here for you. Call the

I just
wanted to say that I think that that was great news! What a tough kid!
It was so great seeing everyone last weekend. Ben's spirit absolutely
shines right through him. He looks great! I am so proud that he took his
first steps at home. I bet it was such a nice break. Eli is growing up
so much. Jacob and Kirsten say hello and can not believe how big the

I guess
this is really hard for me to get everything that I want to say into
this little message. Our daughter Emily Cook from Omaha, Ne is receiving
treatment for Rhabdoid Tumor of the brain. I went on Rhabdoid Kids right
after she was diagnosed in feb\04 and I came back today because My
church is having a benefit for us this weekend and we are going to have
special time for prayer for the children that has touched our lives thru
childrens hospital here in Omaha and for children living with rhabdoid
cancer. I wanted to get updates on the children and print some pictures
to have at the table so people can put these children their daily
prayers. And I never saw you when I was on last. We will be praying for
ben and your family. I meet a lot of children (to many) that has cancer
but only one who has rhabdoid so if you want to talk to someone who
understand how rare and difficult it is feel free to contact me. We have
people all over the world praying for us and every time emily smiles i
