sad for you when I read this morning's update. I will keep praying for
complete healing for Ben, and continued peace and strength for your
family. Remember God is not surprised by this new discovery, and his

Dear
Bowen Family - God has that "place of interest" right in the palm of His
hand. I check Ben and Hanna's web sites frequently and feel like you're
my friends. I heard that you met Steve Whitaker last week. He's a friend
who came to visit Shane and Amber Tatom over in the Ronald McDonald
house. Claire Tatom is their daughter. I'm so thankful to read the
journals and to see how many families are committed to our Savior and
know Who controls our lives and Who brings us peace. If you don't know
the Tatom family yet, buzz on over there. I think you'll like them.

Missonary Baptist Church so I talk to Janet every week to keep updated.
Ben and Hanna have become apart of my daily prayers and alot of my

We are
holding you up in prayer, I asked the question to God, why do the ones
we love have to suffer so much? as I watched Jeff becoming critical last
week and taken back to OSU by ambulance, my heart ached for him as I'm
sure yours does for Ben. God spoke to me in my quiet time..My Son also
suffered...He suffered for you..In 1 Peter2:23 when Jesus suffered, He
commited himself to God, He didn't become angry, overwhelmed, He
commited himself to God!! WOW what an example!! I've learned to commit
Jeff unto God...He has a plan, a reason, a purpose..we just have to
commit and trust His word! May the God of peace,strength,and wisdom, be

Just a
note of encouragement.....A couple from my church were pregnant last
year and they did an ultrasound towards the end of her pregnancy. The
baby had a large tumor on her brain. They saw the tumor with their own
eyes. They ended up going to a hospital where there were specialist and
they did an emergency Csection. To make a long story short (without many
details, because I don't want to relay them incorrectly) the baby was
born and the tumor was comletely gone with no evidence of it being
there. God is good. He is always good even when we feel lonely. I will
continue to pray for healing, strength, peace, and rest. So many people
love you and are praying for you. Still Believing with you.

and Jen, Have been checking the site often for prayer needs and keeping
your needs in front of the people at 20th Street. Lately god has been
directing towards the difference in believing in God and believing God
as you often talk about. Like in Romans 4 when it speaks of the faith of
Abraham against all odds (v.20-21) "Yet he did not waver through
unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith
and gave glory to God, being fully persuaded that God had power to do
what He promised." Every time I read of believing God I think of you
