there. i see that my cat Willie has been on the internet again. He

I have been thinking so much of you and Ben. He is such a cutie. I had
never had the opportunity to meet either of your boys and the pictures
on the website are priceless. I am keeping you in my thoughts and
prayers. I have mentioned Ben specificaly in prayer requests on 2
seperate occasions at our church ( First Baptist Church of Spencer). I
check the website frequently to get updates. Your son has touched us all
and we prayer that God will work a miracle in his life. He seems like a

family, I hope things are going well for you today. I am a nineteen year
old Massage Therapy student who decided one day she was going to sit
down and read a story about a precious little boy with the name...Ben.
My heart was touched, I mean how can you look into those beautiful eyes
and not just totally want to give your life up so that he can live
everyday happy and healthy. It makes you wonder why...why does this baby
have to be so young and so unhealthy, but trust me... the heartache is
worth the wait. I would love to be kept updated on little Ben and if
there is ever a thing that i can do for Ben or his family please just

While I
cannot imagine what your life is like right now, and how much is going
on with your mind and body and soul, please know your light is shining
so brightly even in these dark hours! Your family is covered in prayer
by many folks who only know about you, and those of us who have had the
opportunity to meet any of you have been truly blessed. I am on the

Tom's heart, it is certain that he is a godly man, who loves his family,

In our
darkest of days after the 9/11 attack, a beacon of light came through to
us. Tom answered many questions for our family regarding the recovery of
our nephew Stephen. Now, may that same light be cast upon you and your

that there is some good news and that Ben is recovering from surgery. He

remember Tom from when I attended Union Missionary Baptist Church in
Chesapeake. I am David Sheets' sister and my daughter, Marcie Bullock,
was in Sunday School with your sister, Ashley. I was forwarded Ben's
story by a former teaching colleague who is undergoing chemo for a
recurring bout with cancer. I just wanted to let you know I am praying
and have requested prayer in my church, Highlawn Full Gospel Assembly in
Huntington. We believe in healing and are praying for Ben's healing and
for you to continue to have strength as well as wisdom in making
decisions. May God continue to bless you and use you for the glory of
His Kingdom. HE is the Great Physician. Have a blessed Easter.

Tom, it's
about 1:15 AM on Good Friday morning and I have been sitting here
thinking of you there at Ben's side right now watching over him as God
watches over you. I wish I had some profound bit of advice to help you
like I hope my advise has helped in the past but I don't. I have not
walked where you, Jenn, Eli and Ben walk. I cannot begin to understand
what you are all experiencing. But know that God has walked your walk,
He understands what you feel, He has a plan and purpose for you that
will be complete and revealed in His time. You are all an inspiration to
so many because of your complete faith in God. I have always told people
that Jeremy is the most Christ-like person I know but, Tom, you and Jenn
are right up there with him. All of you live your faith. Please know
that Pat and I pray for all of you every day, every time you enter our
thoughts, which is often.
