Dear Tom,
Jennifer, Eli and Big Ben, I'd be lying if I didn't say I was
disappointed in the news. The emotions run from anger and not
understanding to thankfulness. Thankful that Ben is in such great
spirits. Thankful that he is going to have a great time this weekend and
next week with his family at Disney. Thankful that he can still hear
every word that you guys say to him. Thankful that you'll be able to
shower him with love and praise in the coming days, and he'll be able to
share every moment. May God continue to bless your family and those that
follow your story.

Today I
feel much sorrow, but at the same time, I feel much joy for you and your
family. My heart aches for you trying to understand all of this, but
just as I know you are, I am grateful for how well Ben is feeling, and
know that you will all have a beautifully bittersweet time @ Disney. May

My heart

remember the doctors have no final say so only GOD knows!!!! With that I

showed us what a wonderful gift we had. Like your family, others saw the
love of Jesus through our trials, and we had great support from our
family, church & community. Amazing how God provides. Everyone,
including us, really learned how faith in our Savior can give you
strength to endure a parent’s worst nightmare. And, our precious boy
surprised all the experts...As the cancer continued to grow & spread he
continued to rally. God gave him a wonderful spirit and strength. And,
when the doctors said he should be paralyzed, he wasn't. I really want
to congratulate you on your visual faith and encourage you to continue
as the battle rages. Therefore, I will ask God to prepare your hearts to

Hello to
your dear family, (First off, please accept my apology of the length of
this message. I have figured it will take up to three message
inserts…sorry, but I must write to you. I have entered them in reverse
so they will be read in order.) You do not know me but I found your web
address on another cancer child’s page. I have been following your
journey for about one month now and have been praying along the way.
Your news of Ben’s worsening condition filled with the many miracles of
how his little body is responding hits very close to home for me. That,
is why I am finally writing to you. Our son Mitch passed away 1.5 years
ago at the age of nine from a never before seen form of Osteosarcoma
Bone cancer. Like Ben, his cancer was sudden and swift moving. Ten

I am
absolutely speechless. I am heartbroken for you, and so confused. When I
prayed for Ben before yesterday's MRI, I asked that the tumor would be
completely gone when the Xray was done. I know nothing is impossible for
God. However, this was not the case. I know one thing. One day, BEN WILL
BE HEALED. God does answer our prayers. Not always when we ask, or in
the way we ask, but He does hear and answer us when we call out to Him.
I have fallen in love with your two boys through your website, and I
will continue to lift your family up to the Father in my prayers daily.
God bless you and comfort you at this time. I hope you have a wonderful
time at Disney. I will pray that Ben is well enough to enjoy this time.

absolutely have the prayer you are asking for and I can understand why
it is all so confusing and difficult. Praying for strength, for wisdom,
for peace. Praying for the swelling to immediately subside. Praying for
God's grace just to wash over you, Tom and Jennifer, so that you may
meet and each moment, not fearing what the next moment may bring (which
I know is only possible in His strength, not our humanness) I pray that
God would surround you and carry you through this all. I pray that you
would feel clear headed and, again...every bit of God's perfect peace. I
am still hurting for what is happening and am so sorry, yet still

been praying for you all since I heard your story. My church is praying
for Ben. You are in our prayers everyday. We would like to ask you to
pray for a member in our Church who is only 15, and has a brain tumor.
He is doing well as of today, but each day is different. GOD ANSWERS
