Glad that Ben is doing so well dispite the burns (sounds painful). Just
wanted to let you know that we (Mike, Jamie and I) went out to Chili's
for dinner last night. We also colored a couple of chili peppers for Big

I learned
of Ben's story from a post on dpreview.com - w/ Tom seeking camera
advice - I honestly don't know what camera to recommend. I decided to
read up about Ben - and have to say this is a very touching website. It
evokes very powerful emotions in me. I wish you courage and strength -
and want you to know that your family will be in my thoughts and
prayers. Ben is such a beautiful boy - enjoy each moment with Ben and
Eli - they are precious young boys. I hope the radiation will do its'

Ben is
one strong little man. I pray daily for him and your family. From what I
have heard Chilis had a great turn out in Huntington. Hope is was as
good everywhere else. We are all only here a short time. Everyday
counts. :) I am praying for your move to go smoothly. I can understand
the comfort you must have there. We will continue to love, support and
pray for your family no matter where you reside. Believing and praying
with you. God is good. Hope the wrestling match was hard on Dad. :)

I learned
of Ben today after my supervisor at Target was telling the story of Big
Ben. I must say I was so deeply moved by the story. Ben you have a VERY
strong family and several people to back you up in times of need. To the
family of Ben, you are in deed as it has been said many times, role
models to other people in the world. I look up to you in so many ways.
My family's thoughts and prayers are with you forever and always.

I just
recently heard about Ben's story on talk radio that my husband listens
to every morning. I usually go about my business and try to tune out the
politics but then I heard mention of a familiar name and took notice. I
met Tom several years ago when I worked for Greg Booth. I have never met
a person more devoted to God than him. Tom & Jennifer,I am so sorry
about your son's illness. I will be praying for you and your family.

I am
sorry about your son. I would like you to know that you are not alone. I
have a 5 year old boy who is dying of brain cancer. They first found it
when he was 18 months old. We have done 2 brain surgeries, 35 radiation
treatments and 15 months of chemo over the past 4 years. He has now
relapsed for the 3rd time. He originally had a tumor that had not been
seen before, but now it has changed itself into a PNET. They have found
5 tumors in his lateral ventracles, 2 in his c-spine, and 6 more in his
thoracic and lumbar spine, all of which were not there 6 months ago. He
is now on his final treatment of chemo, in hopes that we will be able to
slow down the process. His doctors said that there is nothing left to
treat him with, and his only chance of survival is a miracle. I would
like to ask your family and friends to pray for him, as I will most
certainly do the same for your son and your family. My sons name is
Isaiah Michael Peters. I know how tiring this can all be as well as
devestating. If you need someone to talk to

I learned
about Ben's story through Sarah Poe Rawlings. She was photographing our
family at the time Ben was diagnosed. We, too, have a 21 month old. My
children,ages 6 and 4, never miss a night or morning when they don't
pray for "Baby Ben". He is very close to our hearts and constantly in
our prayers. Continue to claim God's wonderful healing in his life. Our
God is a God of miracles. He can do the impossible. This is, and will
