As I
talked to Tammy last night and heard the news, my heart was breaking for
you because I know all too well the road you are about to walk. I think
of you all so much and say a prayer each time. Ben is lucky (almost as
lucky as Hanna was -- ha ha) to have parents as wonderful as you are.
Please remember that my invitation to babysit is still and always will
be available, even if it is just for an hour or two. Jennifer, if you
need to someone to play cards with -- you know who to call. But no
whining when you lose. As I write this I am making jokes because you
know that is just my way. But please know that I love y'all, care and am
here for you in any way that you may see fit. Still praying for a

My boss
told me yesterday that her sisters' husband has brain cancer, his name
is Alan Grace of New Mexico. While I was in prayer last night and again
this morning he Lord directed me to Psalm 118, read the whole Psalm but
pay close attention to vs # 8+17. Also read James 1:6-8, my prayers are

Dear
Bowen Family: I know that yesterday's news must be so hard. I pray for
you to be encouraged about the radiation treatment to be an effective
treatment for your little guy. According to the update - this treatment
would sustain the tumor growth for a about a year. Probably one year ago
today - the treatment they are offering your baby today wouldn't have
existed. Who knows what tomorrow will bring or what the Lord will
deliver. I have never personally witnessed such faith and encouragement
to stand behind families in crisis as I have with your son. So, I
personally do not accept the radiation as a "last resort" - look towards
tomorrow's research and God's miracles and live today with your little
boys in happiness and faith. I feel so blessed to have stumbled onto
your site and pray for you daily. God Bless you and your precious
family. Never give up!!!

I do
believe that God can heal Ben. We all need to remain steadfast in our
prayer and belief. I hate that there isn't anything left for St. Jude to
do after radiation, but I am thrilled for you guys to get to come home.
The boys will be so happy being home in their beds (or yours) :) playing
with their toys, their dogs, their old friends....you get my point.
Ben's story has honestly inspired so many people it seems imposible, but
it's not. Thank you for sharing your story with us. I'll be praying for
Ben and family.

how encouraged I am by your unshaken faith in our Savior. I also can't
tell you how heart broken I am that you have to go through this. Please

I am so
saddened by this evil diease. My daughter had a bad cough in Nov.2003.
The doctors kept changing her medince and that did not help. Im May,2004
she went to the hospital for a biopsy, and found she was in the 4th
stage of lung cancer. They gave her chemo and radiation but she had just
got to weak. 6 months after they found the cancer,she passed away while
I was by her side. She passed away Nov.18th on my birthday.So now I am
raising her son, Always look up to the heavenly Father, what ever he
does will be the right thing, Our God never makes mistakes. God Bless
you all.
