Hey guys,
it's been a long time since I made a guestbook entry. I shared all of
this with Jen already but I thought I would post it as well...I have
been praying to share the faith that Sherri has regarding Ben's healing.
I BELIEVE HE CAN but I don't KNOW He will. So I have been praying the
Lord will allow me to feel that way as well if it's His will....and I
woke up Sunday morning with "ABUNDANCE" in my head and I kept tossing
around...I have come to give you life so that you might have it more
abundantly. with Sherri's help I found the entire verse (which I was not
aware of) and it is John 10:10 THE THIEF COMES ONLY TO STEAL, AND KILL,
AND DESTROY; I CAME THAT THEY MIGHT HAVE LIFE AND MIGHT HAVE IT
ABUNDANTLY. I am receiving the Lord's word in my heart JOYOUSLY and into
my (very analytical) mind and simply accepting what the Lord shared with

has been so long since high school and so much has changed. However,
your love for the Lord has not changed and has only grown stronger and
inspires many.I saw the update on Ben last night and have not been able
to sleep. I have prayed, along with your friends at Baptist Temple, and
thought of you and your family often. Have comfort in knowing that Ben
is a child of God and is in HIS glorious hands. Ben is a miracle. Little
Ben has brought an entire town together in prayer. We continue to pray
for Ben and your family, for your strength, your patience, your

Bowen Family, I was conencted to your website through Jeff & Heather
McIlrath's daughter's page. She is doing wonderfully. Our entire town
praises God for that good news. I am heartbroken for your family. Having
never experienced anything as horrific as what you are going through, I

these words this morning from "The Message" Bible, in Romans 9...they
remind us that God knows each of us by name... "If each grain of sand on
the seashore were numbered and the sum labeled 'chosen of God,' They'd
be numbers still, not names; salvation comes by personal selection. God
doesn't count us; HE CALLS US BY NAME. Arithmetic is not his focus." God
knows the number of hairs on our heads; He cares about each one. You are
chosen by name and special to Him!

God is
BIGGER!!! BIGGER than tumors, and everything else. Psalm 24 God is
strong and mighty. He is mighty in battle. His grace is sufficient for
you right now. He is blessing you just because He loves you!! He allowed
David to defeat a lion, bear and a giant that everyone else feared. Look
to God and He will bless you with the strength and confidence to defeat
this giant that everyone else may fear. God also allowed small armies to
defeat large armies. In other words, when things look too BIG for us to
handle, God is able if we BELIEVE. Please BELIEVE God for the VICTORY!!

recently heard through one of my students (Kim) that Ben had surgery at
LeBonheur. Even though we only took care of Ben briefly,before he was
transferred to St. Jude, he touched our hearts. I just wanted to let you
