Here we
are it is 7:44am, getting ready for another day. Ben is constantly on my
mind and I pray for a flawless surgery and a speedy recovery tumor free.
I found comfort in your last update. When I read we can rest because HE
loves us. As I put my kids to bed last night I thought of Ben. Just
another night to a little one. But such a big day physically and
emotional day for all of us. I am sure you are already at the hospital.
But know I am thinking of you all and praying for Big Ben on this day of
uncertainty. Believing and praying with you.

Bowens. It is 8am here in Huntington, an hour till surgery, and I am
thinking about Ben and his upcoming surgery. I pray that God will direct
the hands of his surgeons, that they will be able to remove not only the
area of hemorrhage, but every last cell of the tumor, so that by this
evening, Ben might be tumor free. I pray for Tom, Jen, Ben and Eli that
they will feel all the love that is being sent heavenward today, and at
this very moment, and a sense of peace will come over them during the
surgery and in the recovery period that follows. We love you guys. Bill

Jenn: This morning as we left for work our thoughts were on you both
this morning and Big Ben. What played over and over in our hearts must
surely be God's message for you today. Some key points from the 23rd
Psalm. HE is your sheppard, HE leads you beside still waters, HE
comforts you. HE restores your soul. You will not fear for HE is with
you. Goodness AND mercy shall follow you all the days of your life. You
know, just as he is made of three parts, so are we - our body, our soul,
our spirit. Knowing that our soul is actually our mind, will, and
emotions, how wonderful that he tells us that HE restores it. It is the
devil's favorite attack target - our mind, our will, and our emotions.
But God restores it for us when we can't. His hand over Big Ben today,
the angels 'round about you and Jenn and a shield of favor over the
doctors in Jesus' name, Standing with you in agreement, T&N

Dear
Ones, I just read about your story and struggle after checking Alethea's
site. We lost our Ben a year ago, so we are especially in tune with your
son. I am praying for special skill for the medical team operating on
your son. As an RN who works in the Operating Room, I know how much
prayer is needed in keeping everyone calm and functioning at their best
in the OR. I pray that they will have the Master's hands guiding them
through this long operation, that all evidences of the tumor can be
removed successfully, and that Ben will not have any residual damage to
his brain. I am praying for you as you wait this long day! After sitting
through several 12 hour operations on our Grandson, I know how long such
days are. I pray that you will have friends that will stop in during
this time to help distract you for a while and make the day pass as
quickly as possible for you. Our pastor spent several hours with us, and
it was so good to hear him talk about their family and their recent
vacation and have something to laugh about!!

I found
out about Ben's story a couple of weeks ago and have been praying for
your family. I wanted to write and let you know I will be praying for
Ben all day as he is having the tumor removed. I will also be praying
for you Tom and Jennifer as you sit and wait that God gives you peace to
know your baby is safe during the operation. I will be praying for all
the medical staff as well.

Tommy and Jennifer, It is almost 8:30 here - 30 minutes before
surgery.You are in my thoughts and prayers. You were the first thing I
thought of when I awoke this morning. As I read your updates, your faith
amazes and humbles me. I know the Father is holding you right now. As a
parent,I can't imagine the pain and anxiety you are feeling. As I asked
the Lord for a verse to give you, I was led to Psalm 139:16-17 "All the
days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came
to be. How precious to me are your thoughts, O God! How vast is the sum
of them!" Our Holy, Sovereign, Omnipotent, Loving Father has Ben in His
loving care. He is holding all of us through every storm and trial of
life, and we know that there is no better place to be than in his hands.
Dear Lord, please be with precious Ben. We ask for healing and we ask
you to guide the surgeon's hands this morning. May Tommy, Jennifer, Eli,
Janet and the entire family feel you as your wrap your arms of love

Singles Ministry, choir, and congregation at my church, Highlawn
