Thank you
for having the love and courage in your heart to share your story. I
know that your postings and letters and the stories of Eli, Hanna and

Praying
for you all today and always. My neighbor and good friend helped take
care of Ben here in Cincinnati, she said he is amazing! I pray that he

again from another ATRT mom! Just wanted to let you know that I am
praying that God will guide the doctors in surgery tomorrow and that He
will hold Ben in His healing hands. Have Faith that you have made the
right decision and leave the rest to God and the doctors. I will be
checking in to read that the surgery was a success! How I would love for
our children (and us) to meet and grow up to tell their stories of how
they beat the odds. I am encouraged that their chances increase with
each day! In January, when Cory's routine MRI showed new growth, I was
told it would probably be best to discontinue treatments and that he
would probably live another couple of months. Because he remained
asymptomatic, high-spirited and full of energy, I refused to give up and
sought other opinions/options. If he still wanted to fight, why
shouldn't everyone else! Although he continues to recieve experimental
treatments every 3 wks (to which he has responded), he is alive and
well. He is so strong! It is his courage that keeps myself

I found a
photo of Dr. Sanford on the Internet. I am looking at his face and I am
asking our Lord to prepare this man and to guide his hands and to work
through him as he does Ben's surgery tomorrow. I'm reminded of what one
of our child's specialists told us when we were at Riley Hospital for
Children in Indianapolis...he told us to never forget that ultimately
our child's care is in Hands bigger than those of any doctor at any
hospital. I know that you know that, and you are blessed to know God and
to draw upon His comfort. You are being lifted in prayer. My heart is
still breaking over Hanna. I know you have a pretty full plate. Peace to
you and your family.

came onto this site via Hanna's site. I have a Benjamin, who was
diagnmosed with an astrocytoma in 3/03. He's doing well now. I just
wanted you you to know that you all are in my prayers. I'm so sorry you
all are going through this. I really believe God has a plan for our
children. When things have gotten hard. I claim the promise of Jeremiah
29:11. I'll be praying for you all!! What a precious boy.
