Ben. I haven't written in a long time, but I've been keeping up to date
every day on your website. I ordered three wristbands for me and my boys
and I can hardly wait for them to come. My boys keep asking when they
can wear them. They want to tell their friends about you and show them
your wristband. You are always an inspiration to me and my family. We
pray for you every single night, without fail. I pray at work when I
read your updates. I pray for your family as well. God is taking such
great care of you...you are a blessed child of God. We love you so much

Jennifer, Your story continues to amaze me. You are facing a journey
that I always hate to see any family go through. I am a nurse at St.
Jude on the BMT unit. I see this so often and it amazes me the grace and
dignity you handle this with. I realize there are moments of anger,
frustration, disappointment, fear, loneliness, and yet you must feel so
full of God's love to have lived each day with Ben so full of faith. I
pray that when I am at the bedside at St. Jude my love for my job and my
God show through as much as your love for your family and God show in
your messages. I pray for big ben and eli and for you as mom and dad
that God continues you to bless you in this most difficult journey.

Dear Ben
and family, I have been following your story for awhile now, I
understand that you are a fellow St. Jude patient. Our 4 year old son
has AML and is a patient as well. Although, I can empathize on some
level with what you are going through, I am unable to fully understand
the magnitude of what you are living. I fear everyday, as I am sure you
did that I will also someday being going through what you are. I would
just like you to know that your family is very special and that your
strength is a gift to your son and to those who are praying for your
family. I know that nothing I can say can ease any of your pain. Please
know that although we don't know you we feel as if we do. I hope that
God blesses you during this time and somehow can ease some of the pain.

- I have been following Ben's story for several months and just want to
thank you for sharing him with everyone. His story has taught me to
appreciate the things I have because no one is promised tomorrow. In
your journals, you always seem to point out something positive, even
when the news isn't great. When I came across this poem today, I

Hey Ben
and Family. I want you all to know that I am praying for you. I
discovered your website by listening to the Kicks Cares for Kids
Marathon here in Ga. I was moved to tears when I read your story. Please
everyone, do not give up praying. Ben will overcome this battle
victorious! We have God on our side! I want you to know that I am
praying a special novena for the intercession of St. Joseph. On the
bottom of the page it says, "Say for nine consecutive mornings for
anything you may desire. It has seldom been known to fail." I have used
this prayer more than a dozen times and my prayers have been answered
EVERY time. I know God will hear my prayer this time too and He hears
all of our prayers. I also want to thank you for your inspiration. Since
reading your story, my prayer life and my faith have taken a turn for
the better. And I owe it to y'all for your inspiration. Looking through
some of the posts in the guestbook, it is evident that so many people
have changed their output on life or their faith has become stronger. I

I had
seen Big Ben's billboard on Rt. 60 a few months back. It really touched
me. Hes such a beautiful innocent baby and it breaks my heart to know he
had to go through this. I admire your faith and strength through all of
this. My grandmother saw his story on the news. She asked me to get
online and look it up. I printed off some of the articles for her to
read. We will keep Ben and your whole family in our prayers. Our family
knows how devastating cancer can be and no one really has any answers,
but the only thing you can do is keep praying and have faith.

Dear Tom,
Jennifer, Eli & Ben, My prayers and thoughts are with each of you every
day. Ben's story has made me a better person. I appreciate my family
more than ever. I'm going to see my Grandson's in VA this month, and I
can't wait to just hold them in my arms. This may sound silly to some,
but since my son was born I have tucked him in at night. He's 16 and I
still do. I treasure those times more now than ever. Your family is a
true inspiration to anyone who knows Ben's story. I pray that God will
keep his loving arms around you all at this time and all through your
life. God is the healer of all and there is still time for a miricle.
Keep the faith and know that a lot of prayers are going up for Ben. That

I just
was checking up on Ben wanted to make sure you knew im prayin for ya'll
everyday and thinking about each of you all the time. You ALL are in my
heart. And i wanted to let your family know that i have been following
your story for about 6 months now because of my Aunt Krista. I am
Freshmen and i go to Cabell Midland High School and i have informed ALL
of my freinds about Baby Ben and I made sure they knew about the BIG BEN
braclets. Almost all of us have them. I make sure to remind them to keep
ya'll in thier prayers every night when i go to bed, i have AOL Instant
Messanger and i put an away message up EVERY SINGLE NIGHT saying the
same thing, "good noght im sleepy, make sure to say your prayers ya'll
and make sure to pray for BIG BEN Bowen & the Bowen family" Last night i
left my computer on all night reminding every one about the braclets. So
i juss wanted to let you know you have over a hundred people prayin for

went the other night Ben and bought one of your bracelets. I have been
checking in everyday to see how you and your family are doing. You mean
the world to so many people! You are peoples inspiration.. and hope. For
such a small child you are one of the greatest teachers ever known. To
