John 14:1-4 This is one of my favorite passages. It gives me great
comfort when I am feeling down. I hope it will give you comfort also.
You know where Ben is going, and you know how to get there. May that
hope strengthen you in the days and weeks to come. May God bless you

You do
not know me. I lost my dad to this ugly disease last year and that was a
terrible experience to go through. I just could not image going through
all that with my own child. i look at my kids each day and thank God
there are healthy, but there is always a part of you that wonders why
certain children get so sick. Ben is just a little doll, I love the
picture of him playing with his truck on the home page. When I read the
latest journal entry I cried when he did the tickle tickle. Most kids
when they feel awful don't have such a playful mind. I hope god gives
all of you the strength to get through this. I really pray for Eli and

First, my
heartfelt prayers are with you as they have been for the past year. I
visited Rivercities Church on the very day that pictures were displayed
of Ben in a Firefighter costume next to a window and was told his story.
I fell in love with him right there on the spot..I have prayed for Ben
and your family every night since then and continue to do so. From my
heart, If you don't mind, please give Ben a little kiss from me and tell
him this total stranger whom he has never met loves him and will take
her turn among so many others hugging him when she gets home! All my

My
husband and I check in on your family every day multiple times, always
praying for that miracle. Although we too believe as you so eloquently
put it a few days ago Tom... God already has worked so many miracles
with Ben's life! Many that we are aware of through this guest book and
many we may never know of. Ben came to do Gods work and soon God may
take him home to be by his side and sing with the other angels, as I am
convinced HE IS ONE. Just as Jesus came for a short time to this earth
to do a work, and then to returned to the master's side. We have the
reassurance of knowing that when Ben leaves us he has gone to be by
Jesus' side, and there he will say... "tickle, tickle" Tom, Jennifer,
those of us here on this site can not begin to know what you feel or are
facing unless we have been there like Hannah's parents (thank God for
them) but we pray for you daily and lift you up to our Lord for comfort
and peace. We pray for rest and freedom from pain for Ben and

Hi Tom,
Jennifer, Eli and Big Ben, You have all been on my mind almost non-stop
for the past couple of days... each time one of you pop into my mind...
I lift each one of you up in prayer. I have found myself awake in the
middle of the night... thinking and praying for you. I pray that God
will give all of you some much needed rest and comfort. Tonight I
ordered 15 of your "Big Ben" bracelets. They will be Christmas presents
for my family along with your story Ben. While I am writing this my kid
sister is having open heart surgery for an aneurysm in her aorta. She is
in the midst of my prayers along with each of you. She is having surgery
at the Cleveland Clinic. I feel so helpless here in Missouri. All I know
to do for all of you is continue to pray. May God hold all of you close.

peace and love to you my dear ones. Cannot describe the emotions or
thoughts that Ben may soon be lost to this world. I do still know that
God has the ability to heal him instantly with a touch. I also know that
if God calls Him home -- He has already and will continue to work
through Ben's story for His glory. I know He is surrounding you all with
grace and peace. I am so thankful that the resurrection is a fact and a
truth on which we can rest. How I long for you to be able to hold your
boy in your arms for years to come. I know He is in contorl -- and He
will see you all through no matter what -- and promised prayers and
support to you all no matter what. Sweet Ben, God bless you angel. May
you know no pain, no suffering, no hurt, no fear -- just love, joy,
sweetness, encouragement, and peace. You are loved beyond measure. Eli,
Tom, Jennifer -- prayers for you are constant as well -- even we know
not what or how to pray, are sure that He will show us how to best
