Dear
Bowens, As I read your latest update, the tears started to stream down
my face for your family. I am constantly amazed by the faith your family
has shown. Over the past couple of days, I have often stopped while
playing with my little boy, who is about the same age as Ben, and just
thought of your son. I am treasuring and savoring every moment with my
son, this is in part because of your son. My heart breaks for you as I
think that Ben is not going to have a chance here on earth to do the
things my little boy is doing right now like running around the house
and terrorizing our cats, or just the little things when he talks on the
phone to his grandparents and aunts and tell them that he loves them.
Anyways, my prayers are with your family wishing you a peace greater
than we all can imagine. To Eli- you are one great big brother. Ben,
your fight is almost over, just give your parents a few more memories
and moments.

I prayed
for Ben to have rest and peace. Its good to read this morning that he
was able to do just that last night. Still praying for more rest and
peace, not just for Ben, but for you and Jennifer. How is Rachel? Hope
she is recovering nicely. Dear Lord, I come before you now and ask that
you place your loving hands on Ben. Help him to rest easy. Take away his
pain. Give strength and comfort to his mommy and daddy. Love on Eli

Hey guys.
Bought my bands. Even had to buy some for friends who were going to be
out of town this week and was afraid you were going to sell out. I read
your latest update. Ben provided moments for me to smile. Even feeling
so down. He gives his Mommy and Daddy a reason to smile. Loving you guys
the best way he knows how. I continue to pray for you all and the people
who are taking care of you all. Good doctors and good friends are angels

so broken hearted. Words can't express my feelings as I imagine "tickle
tickle". My heart aches for you. I pray that God will watch over you
right now and give you peace and comfort. Ben, I love you and your
family. Eli, bubby is going to be okay. Give him lots of love for me.
Tom and Jen, your loved so much and I wish I could wrap my arms around
you right now. Jesus, Lord touch them right now...The tears stream down
my face as I think about how a terrible disease can do something like
this. My mind is just blank. Its so devastating. I have to go now as I
am so lost for words....I Love You and continue to believe in God's
precious miracles. He is still able to move in Ben's

My
prayers go out to Tom, Jennifer, Eli and Ben. I pray that God will
continue to be with you and comfort you and your entire family as it
appears the final days with Ben on earth are coming to an end. Just
rejoice in the fact that you will once again see him in Paradise and he
will be in NO PAIN..... Draw strength from the Lord and each other as
you lovingly take care of all Ben's needs. Words can not explain how
your family and this website has changed my life since meeting you in
November, 2004. I am a Christian, but had become a backslider as far as
attending Church weekly. This website and the words of encouragement,
and the awesome faith shown by Ben's family has touched my HEART and my
life will never be the same. God has a wonderfull plan for Ben, but that
does not take away the heartache that you are feeling, the questions of
why would God take away a child's life so early, take an older person
who has had time to life and enjoy life, but not a child. I have 2

I saw
this prayer. It is what you have prayer for since Ben was diagnosed. I
had to pass it along. Prayer for My Child~ I come to you in Jesus name
and give Ben to You. I'm convinced that you alone know what is best for
him. You alone know what he needs. I release him to you to care for and
protect, and I commit myself to pray for everything concerning him that
I can think of or that you put upon my heart. Teach me how to pray and
guide me in what to pray about. Help me not to impose my own will when
I'm praying for him, but rather enable me to pray that your will be done
in his life. Thank You that I can partner with You in raising him and
that I don't have to rely on the world's unreliable and ever-changing
methods for child rearing, but that I can have clear directions from
Your Word and wisdom as I pray to You for answers. Thank You, Lord, for
the precious gift of this child. Because Your Word says that every good
gift comes from You, I know that you have given him to me to care for

I have
been reading your story for the last month or so and my heart just
breaks to think of all that you're going through. I know that God is
sustaining you through all of this and it's so encouraging to read of
your great faith. I came across this verse the other day and instantly
thought of you and your family. He will have no fear of bad news; His
