Hope Eli
gets in a sleigh ride or two from the special gift of beautiful snow.
Nothing is whiter-Including us. Strange how new revelation comes from
something you’ve heard many times in life. Adrian Rogers was teaching
the 23rd Psalm as I left work. Just as the radio came on, he was focused
on, yea though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, thou
art with me. His point was that in order to have a shadow, there must be
light to create it. We are NEVER alone. In order to have a ‘valley’ you
must have mountains on either side. So there while there is descent &
traversing the valley, there WILL be ascent. Your steady belief in Ben’s
healing is evident of your faith. God can do all things. Nothing is
impossible. God bless you that in these dark moments you continue to do
the only one thing he told us to do – believe. God bless you that
despite your heartache, your feet remain firmly planted. Standing with
you, T&N

Dear Tom,
Your latest update touched my heart in a profound way. I so agree that
we don't have to "perform" to find God's grace and favor. God help us
all to just open our eyes to the miracles all around us in EVERY
SITUATION. There is a verse in Isaiah 43:18 that comes to mind, it says
"Do not call to mind the former things, or ponder the things of the
past. Behold I will do something new, now it will spring forth; will you
not be aware of it? I will make a roadway in the wilderness, rivers in
the desert." The question is will we be aware of what God is doing in
all of our lives, even in the wilderness. Your family has certainly
found Glory in the midst of a desert and forever changed the hearts and
thinking of so many of us. Ben's life is a miracle. He has taught us all
what "living life" is all about. Many prayers...

Your
faith is tremendous and the love for your son is awe-inspiring. Not that
any of us don't love our children just as much and wouldn't feel the
same if it were our child suffering, but being allowed this glimpse
inside your life and your hearts is like looking at pure, raw love. It
is like looking into Jesus's face. You continue to be prayed for. And we
continue to BELIEVE along with you. God's grace is evident, His love is
abounding, and His miracles are POSSIBLE. His plan is perfect. Peace and
blessings to you all this day, and special love to your tiny warrior and
his very brave big brother.

I think
of Ben very often. Praying for healing, comfort from any pain, strength,
rest, & understanding. I hate that you are going through this. I wish
there was something I could physically do to take it away. Instead I
will keep praying.

Wednesday
my daughter turned 21 and today my oldest son turned 18. I just can't
believe it and start to complain that they have grown up too fast. THEN
God lays Ben on my heart and I feel so Ashamed of complaining about the
years passing. I only wish I had savored them a little more. You'll
never know, until the day that Jesus himself allows you to view your
life, how much you have touched those of us outside your family. Ben,
may God hold you in his loving arms til we all join you.

We are
lifting you all up in prayer right now. You are all such an inspiration
to us. Each update entry is such a testimony to your faith. Thank you
for sharing your daily struggles and successes with us. We are so proud
to call you friends! Your last update talking about how busy and tired
you are reminds me that "His eye is on the sparrow". He is watching over
all of you, too...that is so evident. P.S. Please tell Ben that we LOVE
chocolate chip cookies, too!

I
disagree with those that say you must believe harder to find a miracle.
This is truly in God's hands. He is our creator and whatever happens is
in God's plan. I don't know you, but from what I read, I don't think any
two individuals could believe any harder than you two. Don't ever second
guess yourself in all of this. Your strength is amazing. I am a 50 year
old Christian Grandmother and I don't think that I would be on tenth as
strong as your family is. I continue to pray God's will in this
situation. Stay strong as you have from the beginning. In Christian
love, Janet

I have
been following Ben's story for a long time and I am so encouraged by
your faith and reliance on our God. Ben is truly a precious child and
has touched many lives through your words. I continue to pray for his
comfort and your strength as you take care of him each and every moment.
I do know what you are experiencing...as I have very recently lost my
only child to this horrible disease. There is strength and comfort in
the knowledge that there are many who are holding you up before our God.
You are a remarkable family...

Tom and
Jennifer, Whoever thinks that God isn't working through Ben should take
15 mins and look at his guestbook. Just in the last week he has been
heard in 39 states Canada,Israel and the UK. This is just those who took
time to be supportive by their entries in Ben's guestbook. God works in
mysterious ways. AND who knows how many people read without signing.
Thank you Ben for your wonderful view of life and love. Your Smile is a
constant memory in my mind.

You all
are in my thoughts and prayers. Ben has the most beautiful eyes. We lost
our nephew, Brian, to cancer back in 1983. He had just turned 5. Ben's
eyes remind me so much of Brian's. Thank you for sharing the pictures.
The one's of Eli and Ben are so precious. I can tell how much Eli loves
his little brother. God bless you.

Dear
Bowens. I can't wait to get a Big Ben band and wear it proudly. Thanks
for the update. Sorry to hear Ben is struggling with pain and you are
dealing with so much right now. My heart is breaking for you. This is
all in God's hands and he knows best. The feelings toward cancer you are
experiencing can only be expected. Its so heartwrenching to think of
what your family is going through right now and to see the effects of
cancer on such a small, beautiful child. It seems its just not fair that
cancer can do this. Why something like this happens, I don't know. I do
not that God is in control and everything happens for a reason. Please
know that so many care and think of you all day everyday. We wish we
could do more. Ben's story is known around the world. I was on WQBE's
website yesterday and saw the link to Ben's story. It touched my heart.
He is everywhere. Give him and Eli hugs and kisses. Know that your loved
and we continue to pray for wisdom, peace, comfort, rest and healing
upon your family. Still believing.........

in on your family. I pray for peace...for God's arms to hold you ever so
tightly down the path you are on. I CANNOT fathom the heartache each of

life and death. It is about faith, hope, belief in God, miracles, love
and so much more. Your story has changed my life and I cannot thank you
enough for sharing it with me and so many others who you don't know.
Believing with every ounce of my soul....Love and Prayers, Keri XOXO to
Eli, please Dear God be with him. P.S. It will be an honor for me to
wear a bracelet honoring Big Ben and his incredible story. XO XO Big

Dear
Bowen Family, Yesterday on the way home from school, enjoying GOD's
blessing of a beautiful snowfall in the mountains, something came across
the radio and caught my attention and made me immediately think of Big
Ben. It was about a sign that was in Christopher Reeves weight room that
said "I will meet you at the finish line." I knew with a heavy hear that
your son will be at the Finish line before any of us are ready. But when
he reaches that glorious finish line, he will be welcomed by our Savior
with open arms. He then will wait for the rest of your family to meet
him at this Finish Line. Ben you are running one awesome race with life.
You have lived life more in your two years then some people will ever
live in their entire life. So Big Ben the Finish Line is in sight, we
just wish you would be here on earth for us to see you grow up into a
young man. We love your family.
