Bowen's- Though I just stumbled across Ben's webpage yesterday, yet your
family has not left my mind. My heart continues to go out to your family
during this most difficult time, and I pray you enjoy many precious
moments with Ben, but still hold hope for a miracle. "Be not afraid, he
goes before you always" God is with you every step of the way. As my mom
battled her own fight with cancer, I constantly thought this to myself.
"God I do not know what you want me to carry this load, it is awful
heavy, but if you want me to then I will" God has a very special plan
for Ben and your family. Thank you for sharing your story. You will
remain in my thoughts always and will serve as my inspiration through
medical school with the hope of someday taking care of children just
like Ben. Sending lots of prayers and happy thoughts your way.

Ben is having a good day. Wendy saw the recent St. Judes commercial and

I never
realized how much you can still believe until I read your story. Even
after all that your family has faced and endured, you still hold on to
your faith. Ben is a incredibly special child, and his story has changed

Bowen family I have been touched by your story of you strong little man
and he is that a man for all of the struggles he has over come. I know
not many people can relate to what you have experienced with you son
especially not me. I am a high school girl and I know that all I have
learned that I believe. I have learned through the hard trials of my
life. I have been blessed that I have not had many tuff, and non to the
extent of yours. I have a good friend who is my age, Alli she has been
touched by this story even more than I. everyday at my school our P.E
teacher updates us on Bens trials of the day never fail Alli is there
reading them even before I. knowing this is kind of on the mean side,
but Alli can at times not be the nicest of a person but after hearing of
you son she is starting to change. its amazing how one little person, a
voice so small can have a sprit so big and so loud that people on the

I just
went to the movies. While there I was dozing off and not really paying
attention to the ads. Then all of a sudden ben's smiling face popped up
in the St. Judes commercial. I don't know him (so I do hope I wasn't
delusional) but that just floored me. Ben's smile is helping the world
and reaching many people. I for one will give what I can to st. judes
and blood banks in honor of ben.

wanted to let you know that I am daily checking on Ben. This started for
me in November checking on a local little girl, Emily Cook. I was so
moved by her story and since have met her family, they are great people,
then I saw your link on her webpage and now pray for your family daily

Seeing
your beautifull family at St.Judes and Target House was wonderfull for
me.Although I alos had an ill child thier were days I did not want to
come out of the apartment at Target House.Mostly because I was so tired
by the day's appointments. I would look out our window and there you
guys would be taking every moment with your sons and treasuring it.I
though to myself .I need to take Stormy down to play on the slids too.We
would go down there and your children would always be smiling.Your wife
holding ben and Eli would end up chasing Stormy's older brother around
the playground. I just want to say thanks! Although you did not relize
it at the time but seeing your family so happy and then taking Stormy to
play allowed me to lock memories in my heart forever. I wanted to let
