Dear Ben
and family, I just found out about you last week on one of our local
news websites and the caption caught my eye. It had a link to your
website and I read ALL about you all. Everyday I check your website for
updates with lots of hope. I have prayed for you all everyday and I
haven't prayed in a LONG TIME! You all are an amazing family who has

have never met but My family attends RC3 and have been praying for your

happy to help Ben and his family with Christmas Time. Mrs Jordan is
trying to raise some money in the Physical Education Department in
Spotsylvania High School and i know that he will have such a great
christmas with this money and I just wanted to say that GOD WILL

picked up the Autumn 2004 Promise and read Ben's story - WOW! We are 15
miles from the Peoria Midwest Affiliate - have been co-chairman of our
Pork Chop Dinner/auction held in April. Had Aaron on our 2004 poster.
Assuming you know he went to be with the Lord this week - funeral

Ben, you
and your brother Eli are very handsome young boys! I first learned about
you when you were Patient of the Month for St. Jude's Children's
Hospital. Your face was posted on our refrigerator for a full month.
Also, you have a friend named Easton who is the son of the cousin of a
friend of mine here in State College. That's probably pretty hard to
figure out. We're so proud of you and your famiy and your faith in God.
You are much loved and treasured Ben! God has a special place in His

You do
not know me, but you will forever more be in my prayers. I learned of
Ben's page through a friend of mine who lost her son two years ago to
Rhabdoid cancer. I am touched by your story. May God hold you in his
loving hands and guide you through your journey. Ben you are truely
courageous, and the same goes for you Eli. It takes a truely strong
little man to go through what you are going through. To both of the
boys, may God give you strength and courage to face each day. To Ben's
parents, may he guide your every decision with grace and ease. Though it
may not be easy, and I can not say I know what you are going through,
because I don't, but may God be with you always and hold you forever in
his loving hands. May he comfort you and send you strength to see you

I've never met you, I've only fell in love with you through your

Several
of the guys here at the Metro Drug Unit stopped in to check the lastest
entry. Our hearts are heavy tonight for Big Ben and the rest of the
family. Alot of things we just can't understand, but GOD never said that
we would. GOD said that his grace is sufficient. We still pray for a
miracle knowing that GOD is the GREAT and ALMIGHTY physician. But we
also know it has to be his will. BIG BEN is only two years old and he
has touched more lives than people will be able to in their entire life.
GOD does not look at death as we look at death. GOD is waiting in heaven
with open arms for all his children. CHRIST could come back before the
day is over. Our thoughts and prays are with you and your family. We

might. But if your healing is not to be on this earth, I pray for all
those that love you to have peace and comfort. It seems like you should
be with your family, but if God needs you with him, I’m sure there is a

Ben, We have something in common. My family is from Huntington, WV, but
I live in Memphis. You know this place all too well. I even saw you on
the news when they made you a deputy. The thing is, Ben, that you may be
moving on to something bigger and better in the future. I want to tell
you about a special dog who lives there. His name is Kozmo, and he is a
min-pin. He was in our house when someone broke in and set it on fire.
He went to heaven. That's where you will go, too. I already told Kozmo
to anticipate your arrival unless God grants us the miracle we're
praying for. The thing is, he's not with me anymore. I can't enjoy him,
so I'm giving him to you. He will be loyal and a good friend. If you
can, would you please tell him that we love and miss him terribly? If or
when you arrive in this spectacular place, a special pet will be waiting
for you.
