To the
parents of Benjamin: I've watched this story on the news and I've gone
online for more. My heart goes out to you all, especially Benjamin.
There is no greater gift from God, than the birth of a child...and I
know that Benjamin has got to be the greatest blessing in your lives.
I've prayed that God performs a miracle, because Benjamin is certainly a
jewell to have around from what I can see. I will continue to keep him
and you all in my prayers. Just know that God's plan for Benjamin is
greater than ours could ever be. May God continue to richly bless you
all in your fight against this dreaded disease.

tremendous big brother and a Mommy and Daddy who adore you. You have

Well I
cannot help but to be upset with the newest news. I had hoped and prayed
for a much better out come. Just isn’t that time I guess. As Ben presses
forward it is just as obvious today that is was when he started this
journey. He is here and is making his mark. Some people don’t do in a
life time what Ben has accomplished since his diagnosis. Just being Ben,
with a great and loving family. If he would leave this world today. He
has already been a rich man, that no amount of money can buy. You’ve
given him that. I pray for his overall health as always. But am focusing
on your marriage, your broken hearts and sweet Eli. Stay strong Bowens.
Miracles happen everyday. I still believe, Bens smile is a constant
reminder. God is good. I love you too Ben.

Just
wanted you to know that I am still checking the site. Since way back
when Tom was suppose to speak at a Lehigh Valley YFC banquet. I check
almost everyday and pray for you all. God will help you through this. I
feel almost as if I know Ben through all of this. What a trooper. My 12
year old had a ganglio gliamo resected on August 27 2004 and has several
minor deficits but the emotional thing is the hardest for him. He still
has bouts of shaking and thrashing and they think it may be due to
anxiety. The point I am trying to make is that God is holding you and
helping you through this. I know in our minor situation here I feel His
hand at work and He won't let you down either. The wisdom and strength
will come just when you need it...and it is ok to question God and to
tell him how you feel...I am sure you know that but wanted to remind you
of that. I am praying for you...all of you, Gail Dowling

God has
already worked a miracle through Ben. He has touched so many people,
including my own. God has given you the grace and strength you need to
write so eloquently. Your pain is unimaginable, yet you stand firm in
HIS love. I continue to pray every day for the miracle we all know can
still happen. Eli will have a extra prayer from me tonight. He has had a
lot to deal with this year. Although your hearts are breaking, you are a
testament to God's wonderful love. Keeping you always at the top of my
prayer list. P.S. My five-year old son would like to add something, "I
wish Ben will get better. I will ask God to heal Ben."
