I'm an
ALSAC employee, the mother of a patient (off treatment)and the step
parent of 2 deceased children patients of St Jude. I want to tell you
that I've been following your incredible story. I have prayed for you
all and will continue to. I have always been inspired by your son and by
family. I really wish I knew what to say. I know that I wish this had
not happened to your family or any family and that's why I work here.
Like you, I have found great solice in raising money for St Jude. To

How sweet
Heaven must be........Bowens, I know your hearts are troubled. We are
all sharing in your sadness. Ben, I'm so glad your not in pain no more.
I love you baby boy and will miss you! I can't imagine what your going
through right now especially little Eli. My heart is broken and the
tears just flow. Ben's had such an impact on the world. I'm forever
thankful I got to meet this courageous little boy and his family. Know
your loved and we lift you up in prayer to our Heavenly Father this very

Tom,
Jennifer, and little Eli, Your family has become such an important part
of my prayer life and I, too am so sorry for the pain and separation you
all must feel. Ben's story has and will always be with me. My boys ask
me everyday how Big Ben is doing. I'm going to have a hard time telling
them that he is not with us physically anymore. I do praise God that He
has healed Ben and has given him and new cancer free body, so full of
energy and strength. I know that my kids have a wonderful Papaw who
loved them more than life. I can picture him now playing with Ben the
same way he used to play with my boys. Tom and Jennifer, your faith has
been a huge example to all who have read Ben's story. I pray that God's
grace will sustain you until you can hold your precious baby boy again.

sad to learn of Ben's passing, but rejoycing at the same time that his
pain is gone and he is home. Just know that God is holding him until you
