When a
baby dies, it's very hard to bear, Because that baby may have been an
answer to your prayer, Or else, perhaps, you loved it, because it filled
a need, Or else, because you wanted it to grow up and succeed. But God,
who lives in heaven, can see a sparrow fall, And knows our every
heart-wish, and sees us, one and all. He wants us to be happy, but has
His own needs, too, And maybe He needs baby's love as much as we here
do. Or maybe He has called your child to fill a mission there, Or render
faithful service, bringing joy beyond compare To Father's other
children, who loved your little one Before it came to dwell on earth to
be your daughter - son. Who knows what heavenly purpose awaits your
little child, Whom God has taken home to Him, where love is simply
styled? But this much is for certain, you'll see your child once more,
In Heavenly Father's mansion, when God has closed the door, And drawn
the veil of human tears for you, and those you love, So you can be toget

As others
have said - there are no words; just know there are tears being shed by
all who have followed Ben's journey. Your family has touched untold
numbers of people who needed your guidance in strength and faith, and
you continue to lead us. God chose you and you have served Him and Ben
well. I will be praying for all of you, but particularly Eli, who must
make sense of all this at such a tender age. God be with you.

Big Ben,
you have finished your race and now get to have the ultimate
prize...sitting with Jesus. I am praying for your families healing and
peace. I bet Ben will be the only angel in heaven with Mickey Mouse
ears. You will one day see him again, pain free, cancer free, in heaven.
Love and prayers for your entire family.

Please
accept our condolences on the loss of your son. We lost our only son on
September 30, 2004, in a housefire, and the song "Serenaded by Angels",
was sung at his funeral. It was such a comfort to me, as I could just
see my Brian being escorted to the Throne and serenaded by angels. Big
Ben is now being serenaded, as well. He fulfilled his purpose,(and what
a wonderful purpose that has been and will continue to be), won the
race, and now he has received a Glorious reward. Such a brave little boy
and wonderful family. God Bless you all. Our prayers are with you. Joan
and Steve

My heart
aches for you tonight. Ben ran a very tough race. Although he lost the
fight on earth, he just ran through the finish line into heaven. That
dear boy has changed so many lives forever. May God give you strength
and peace and rest. So much love is out here for you.

rest with His Father. Ben's legacy will live on forever and praise God
for the hearts that have been changed by the life of this two year old

Still a
warrior, hero, mentor and blessing to me. I cannot imagine your pain
without him. But to see him fight and still light up a room with his
beautiful smile, what a kid. I personally will miss Ben. I already do. I
will treasure and be reminded everyday by my BIG BEN band of all that he
has showed me. Eli honey I love you… Mom and Dad are going to need some
extra loving. Ben may not be here in person but he lives on through all
of us and all the good that had and will be done in his name. Thank you
God for healing Ben hug and kiss him for us. Watch over his family as
they grieve a one of a kind kid. Still believing praying and giving

"SAFE IN
THE ARMS OF JESUS, SAFE ON HIS GENTLE BREAST. THERE BY HIS LOVE
O'ERSHADED, SWEETLY MY SOUL SHALL REST." Dear Tommy and Jennifer, The
words of this old hymn were written by Fanny Crosby, the famous blind
poet of the 19th century, right after her baby died and went to be with
Jesus. This was the first thing that came to my mind when I heard that
Ben had gone to Heaven tonight. Part of me rejoices that he is no longer
in pain, and that he is truly safe in the arms of Jesus. Yet, the other
side of me grieves and aches for the loss that you two and sweet little
Eli are feeling. What an incredible testimony you have had over the last
year. What inspiring faith you have demonstrated to all of us. What an
impact Ben's story has had on thousands of people. You will never know
what all God has done and still intends to do with Ben's life. Thank you
for trusting Him and his providence and sharing your sweet baby's story
with the world. I'm praying that our Father will give you such a sense
of peace and comfort that only He can

Since my
sister-in-law has passed along Ben's story to me some time ago, I have
checked regularly on his progress. I was so saddened tonight to hear of
his passing. I can't even begin to imagine as a parent all you have been
thru, and all that still lies ahead. I'm so glad little, I mean "Big
Ben" is out of pain now, because no child should have to endure that. I
will continue to pray for your family, friends, and all those Ben has
touched. May God be with you all. Remember, love lives on forever. Fly
high little Ben ^j^ Love & prayers, Elizabeth

(CONTINUED)...praying that the Lord will comfort you as only He can. I'm
also praying that the Lord will surround Eli and comfort him and help
him to remember happy times he had with Ben instead of the last few
weeks of pain. May the Lord bless you and keep you, make His face to
shine upon you, be gracious unto you, and give you peace. Heaven is a
much sweeter place tonight than it was earlier today. Much love to all
of you, Bonnie

How do I
tell you I understand your pain? There really are no words. I have
watched both of my grandchildren die after transplant and life support.
They too suffered from a rare illness. I was left responsible for their
funerals...17 months apart. My joy comes from the memories and simple
pleasures they gave me while they were here. I am so thankful to have
been allowed the priveledge of having them in my life. I pray for your
family to find the peace that I have been able to find and for you to
come to a place where the pain can be put aside to allow the joyfull
memories to come through. Lorraine
