Hey there
Big Ben I hope you are feeling the least amount of pain and as
comfortable as possible. I think you and Eli have the best mommy and
daddy any child could ask for. I recieved my wristbands today. My little
one and I are going to wear them proudly and will encourage everyone we
can to buy one. Tom and Jennifer I would like to extend my thanks to you
for sharing his story. It has truly touched my heart. He is and always
will be in the best hands ever(God's and yours).

How is it
that it always seems YOU are the one comforting ME through Ben's
journey? You are truly inspirational. I cannot begin to thank you enough
for sharing your story with us...my life has changed in so many ways. I
am a more patient, more loving, more nurturing mom and I have also found
God through you. Because of you, I too will be saved and cannot wait to
meet my little hero in heaven someday. With the impact this little boy
has made on us all, I'm sure the line to meet him and hug him in heaven
will be quite long and well worth every minute of the wait. Thank you

again Bowen family, Guess What?!?! I got my Ben Ben band today. I was so
excited. I am so happy to support Ben. I have been checking on Ben and
praying for him daily. I am also praying for the rest of the family. i

Hi Bowen
Family - We just read your latest update. I'm releived to hear that Ben
has been comfortable for the last 24 hours - and so saddened that that
you as parents are having to watch your sons suffer from this disease
and the fear that it has brought Eli. I don't really know what to say
because I can't even imagine the pain that you guys are feeling right
now...my heart breaks for you. I will continue to pray that Big Ben
remains comfortable and that when Big Ben sees Jesus he runs to him. We

Bowens,
My heart breaks when I read your words. You have such a graceful trust
in God but yet you are so very human,feeling real pain and heartache
even though your trust in God is strong. I find this to be a wonderful
combination and one that is getting you thru this very difficult
situation. I am praying for your sweet Ben and Eli. You must find
yourself doing, saying and hearing things you never thought you would.
Watching your boys go thru this must be so different from what you had
in mind for them. I'm sure you never knew your youngest son would touch
the world in his little lifetime or that your oldest son could endure
such hardship and still be such a hero. You are all Heros in my mind,
you have battled like no other and in the end BEN will win when he is
painfree and able to see all the hearts he has touched. Much Love

Bowen Family, Your wonderful, beautiful, larger than life son Ben is in
my prayers continuously. I truly mean 'larger than life'....sometimes I
think a few are just too good and precious for this world. That is one
of the only way I can make any sense out of times like these. I am so
very sorry. I wish, with all that I am, that there was something that I
could say or do that would help Ben and your family during this time.
All I can do is pray....pray for peace....pray for strength.....pray for

My heart
aches tonight as I read the last few updates, looking at Ben he is truly
beautiful and a real heroe. I am so blessed to have heard his story,
he's legacy will last a life time. Litte Allie Scott brought the real
awareness of cancer to my eyes and Ben has added more logs to the fire,
his face is beautiful and what an honour to be his parents and know and
love him. Cherish every breath and hold close, so many would love to hug
him and thank him for fighting and being so strong and brave. God send

selfless thing I have ever heard. I am in tears for you and wish so much
that Ben would have a miracle here on earth. But I know that God has his

Hey guys,
I got my BIG BEN bracelet today, i love it, im going to wear it all the
time. This was a great project to start because it is a wonderful way to
honor Ben. Tonight, while i was at a basketball game, one of my friends
i went to high school with had a blue bracelet on. I looked down and
said "hey you've got one of those bracelets too" she showed it to me but
it was a UK bracelet. I showed her mine and said with great pride "Mine
is one of the BIG BEN bracelets." I have a feeling that i will get
several questions about it and i hope that i do because that will give
me the chance to talk to other people about Ben and enlighten them to
his story and maybe it will change their life the way it has changed
mine. Ive written you a very heart-felt letter and sent it by way of the
channel 13 guy that helps cover your Bens story, it turns out that he
takes a class with my mom at Ohio University. He said to write a letter
and he would give it to you. I sent it last wk. its in a big white envel

I cannot
even imagine how hard those words must be to say to your sweet baby boy,
but I have a feeling you won't need to tell Ben because Jesus will be
running to him when the time comes to take His little boy home. And,
someday, you will all be together again, but in the meantime, you will

Dear
Bowen Family, I don't know what makes me feel like I need to sign
guestbooks of people I don't even know. But, I felt a connection with
you right off. My father served in the Fire Dept in Newport News, VA for
over 25 years. I've grown up in the family that is extended to all
firefighter families. Secondly, I know that we are brothers and sisters
in Christ. I have lifted Ben up in prayer and your family too. I pray
for PEACE and comfort. Its so obvious that you understand what I learned
from a miscarriage I had about a year ago. Every child has a purpose- no
matter what age they leave this Earth, God has placed them here for a
reason. That doesn't make it any easier on us parent's to lose them. He
has infinate wisdom. Ben's purpose on this Earth is clear to me. Its to
save other lives by helping to raise money for St. Jude's and awareness
about cancer. Again, you'll all be in my prayers. I wish there was more
that I could do. I always feel so helpless in these kinds of situations

Dear Tom.
Jennifer, Eli & Ben, I have just read your last posting and my heart
aches for you all. My niece lost her fight with this disease aged 8, but
she and our family never lost their faith in God. On the night she
passed way, my sister and brother-in-law told their precious daughter
Melissa, that if she wanted to go on a journey to heaven and the stars
that would be fine, they would follow her one day. She told them she
wanted to go to heaven because in heaven she would be free. Like your
gorgeous boy Ben, our Melissa touched the lives of many around her and
she remained absolutely confident that heaven was the place for her to
go. After giving their precious daughter permission to undertake the
journey to God she did just that. Her final words were I love you to her
mummy and daddy, see you in the morning before slipping away peacfully
during the night. There is little I can do or say that will ease your
pain other than know you are all in my prayers. Ben's remarkable story

with joy -- Run to Jesus! How precious..what a testimony of your faith
