I know
that your story has touched many,I will pray for your family,I lost my
son@ 3 months old, but, never had to watch him suffer, you all are
strong, and I am sure that is so hard, to remain that way, I AM 30 YEARS
OLD AND JUST DIAGNOSED WITH COLON CANCER, MY FRIENDS ASK, HOW, I stay so
strong, I am thankful that it is me and not a child, or someone else I
love, I am very unselfish,in a way, in another, selfish,because I do not
want to hurt while someone else suffers,, a poem I wrote when my son
passed.. "I'll lend him for a little while,a child of mine"he said, for
you to love while he lives, and mourn, while he is dead.I t may be six
or seven years, or twenty-two, or three,But, will you 'till, I call for
him,take care of him for me? He'll bring his charms to gladden you, and
shall his stay be brief- you'll have his lovely memories for solace for
your grief. I cannot promise he will stay,since all from life return;But
there are lessons taught down there, I want this child to learn. I've

know me, but I was pointed in the direction of your website by people on
the former "Friends of Allie" MSN board. I have been praying for your
son Ben, and am looking forward to wearing my BIG BEN band with pride.
Wanted to say too that I am volunteering at a telethon to raise money
for St.Judes on Thursday in honor of Allie, Hayley, and most especially
Ben who was treated at St. Jude. I truly believe that is the place where

Jennifer, On behalf of all the St. Jude parents, I want to say thank you
from the bottom of my heart. You two truly amaze me. Through all of this
you have done a remarkable thing for St. Jude and for our children.
Brian and I love you guys and wish there was something more we could do,
but always know that you are in our thoughts and prayers continously.
Big Ben, I only wish that I would have had the chance to give you one
more big hug and kiss and see that big smile. Tom, it meant so much to

Bowen Family, Want you to know that we are praying for your family.And I
have put this story in our Church for everyone to pray also. My daughter
called me from Delaware to tell me about the web site about Big Ben! She
was in tears.We have a 4 year old granddaughter and my daughter said she
had to get her daughter and just hug her after reading your story.We
thank God for our children and our grandchildren.Story like this makes
us appreciate so much what God has done for us.We want to help all we
can also. We lost a nephew at the age of 6 years to MS.He had suffered
for three years,and he was such a brave little Boy.We don't feel like we
lost Danny,We know we will see him again one day in Heaven.He left us
with so much love and strength.I always would cry and Danny would
confort me. There wasn't much the doctor's could do back in Danny's
time,but new medical treatments are now being used.We will be praying
for Big Ben.For total healing.

Family - Ryan wants me to let you now he has sent each of you Valentines
Day Cards. We mailed them Thursday...hope you get them tomorrow. I am so
impressed by your determination and passion in helping to find a cure
for these monsterious diseases children are so bravely fighting. What a
difference the money you have raised for St. Jude will make. I thank you
for sharing your story so openely...you have touched our lives. I am so
pleased that Big Ben received the honorary citation for the
Governor..how special. We still hold you tight to our hearts and send
