Dear Ben,
It seems your journey is nearly over and what a life you have led! You
have done more in your small amount of time than anyone I know. Just
like your mommy and daddy, we, at the Meadows household, are very proud
of you as well. You are an inspiration to everyone you touch to go forth
and do good for everyone. I am going to advertise your wristbands on my
journal and I will tell everyone in church tomorrow to buy one. God

I awoke
this morning to the reading of the latest update my husband had printed
off. We check in several times a day, still praying & believing for Gods
miracle if it is in his will. Every time I get on I cry as I read & sit
& just gaze at the beautiful pictures of Ben, God's angel, but also the
rest of your very special family. My heart aches for you. But even more
than that, I am filled with an overwhelming admiration. Your unwaivering
faith & steadfastness to God & his promises, & how you have held not
only to that but how you have managed to handle this very difficult task
put before you with grace & dignity & still keep Eli in the forfront
also knowing he is equally loved & important. This sometimes gets lost
in a crisis. Tom, we have read you biography (I guess put out by
Ambassador speakers bureau & literary agency) & you are a man beyond
your years. You have done so much for so many. What a rewarding life.

You know
God talks about Mothers in the Bible... you can tell alot about a woman
from her children & her family. The way Eli has responded to the events
around him speaks magnitudes for you Jennifer, as it does for you both
as parents. You know people ask sometimes why does God let this happen
to good people? God knew right where he needed to put his little angel
Ben. He saw the right family. The familythat was strong, dedicated to
him & to each other. A family with unwaivering faith. He knew Ben's
ministry was necessary but he also knew it would not get accomplished if
it was not placed proplerly, he knew it was placed SAFELY, with you.
"Heavenly Father, I lift the Bowen family up to you Lord, asking that
you be with them and guide them. Lord you know their needs as none
other. Show them you mercies. Hold them tightly in your loving arms. I
pray Lord for a healing for Ben, but only you know the devine will for
Ben Lord. Help us to accept it with dignity Lord. We thank you for

your familiy with Governor Manchin and representative from St Judes
receiving the Check for the selling of Big Ben wristbands; I cannot
express how painful it was to see BIG BEN not smiling and laying so

I saw
Ben's story on WSAZ and was very touched by it. My sister Sherry is 46
and at Duke University Hospital in N. Carolina right now being treated
with radiation to her brain. She has been fighting breast cancer for 5
years. It first went to her lungs, bones and now brain. She has 9 tumors
on her brain, 7 on the brain stem. So I feel your pain. She is my best
friend and a wonderful person. I will pray for you and your family. I
know, unless God moves we will lose our precious Sherry. Her illness has
taken a great toll on us so I know that your lives have been turned
upside down. She had 20 whole brain radiations but it didn't work. Now
she can just have spot radiation. Every radiation she has I lose a
little more of her. It kills cancer cells but it also kills brain cells.
She can't walk anymore but she has her good days when she seems to be
almost herself. This has devastated our family. I pray that God will
give you strength, because I know how it feels to watch someone you love
very much slowly slip away. Sometimes I get ma

you are truly a FIGHTER the MOST BRAVE WARRIOR to fight the fight of a
lifetime. God has made you a into a MASTERPIECE in everyones eyes. Big
Ben we all love you so much but we know you are in pain, please God take
