I have
been following Bens story for a while and I was devastated when he
passed. I sat at my computer during computer class and cried. I am 15...
so Im still in school. I foung out about Ben through Allie. I am a
member of FRIENDS OF ALLIE. My thoughts and prayrs are with you and your

I have
followed your family's story through a friend at church. Her niece
Taylor was friends with Ben at St. Judes. I have two boys myself, ages 4
and very soon to be 7. My heart aches for what your family has had to
endure. I cannot even begin to imagine what you and Eli have been
through. You are such an inspiration to what faith is,without it where
would any of us be? I also am a Christian but I can't say without a
doubt that my faith could have withstood all you have been through, I
can only hope it would. I was so amazed by the Big Ben Wristband sale, I

I have
only just read Ben's story and I have been so moved by your little boy's
and your bravery. I lost my husband to Cancer last July and I know to
some extent how you must be feeling but I can't imagine the pain of
losing a child. I do hope Eli is having a wonderful birthday and you are

Dear Tom,
Jennifer and Eli - Just wanted you to know that we are thinking about
you and praying for you always. We were on Spring break a couple of
weeks ago and were fortunate enough to get a family trip to Hawaii. The
boys and I couldn't help but think of Ben and Hanna smiling down on us
as we gazed out over the ocean. The boys proudly showed off their Ben
Bands and told others of his journey. Thank God for the wonders he

Christ(you might be familiar with a man by the name of Aaron Brewer)and
he has recently heard the story of Ben.Iam a student leader for campus
life and I want to say on behalf of Campus Life that we are very sorry.

Wow I was
just trying to find the lyrics to a song I heard on the radio and when I
googled the few lines I remembered from the song, there popped up your
website with the song's lyrics all written out nice and neat. And now
your story has me mesmerized (along with thousands others it sounds
like). Thank you for sharing your story. How brave you all are.
Inspirational and encouraging and gracious. I am so glad to have
stumbled across your story so I can pass it along to many others. Ben
will forever be in my heart and prayers from this second on. As will
your whole family. My heart breaks for you because our first (and at the
time only) son Sam died 2 years ago from a virus that attacked his
heart. He caught a cold and the next day his heart stopped. He was 21
months old. As a mama, my gut is sick for you having to watch and endure
the treatments for Ben. But he is doing miracles and you are allowing
your situation to bless countless others as you share your fight to save
his sweet little life. I pray that God will let Be

speechless. I cannot begin to express my horrification of what I just
emailed to you because I did not realize that Ben had already gone home
to be in Heaven. I am so sorry. I am so sorry. Please forgive my
horrific error. I got so caught up in the website that I didn't get far
enough into it realize that he had passed away on Feb. 25th. I am
mortified and pray my gross error did not cause you too much grief. I
cannot say enough how sincerely sorry I am for my huge mistake in

him and your courageous family. I would like to encourage you to look at
this website I have discovered ----- memory-of.com ------it is a place
where you can create a forever memorial for Ben with pictures, lit
candles, music, etc. I have made one for my son and it has really helped
with my grieving. I hope it brings your family some comfort also.
