Hello Tom
and Jennifer, You are still in my thoughts and prayers everyday.
Tonight, however I am here alone. The kids are asleep and my husband is
out with some friends. I was sitting here just listening to the constant
rain. very steady, very strong I am thinking of you. The rain tonight is
like I imagine your pain-It is steady and strong regardless of what you
are doing. You may be distracted from it for a short period as you go
about your daily routine, but it is still there. The difference I
realize is that your pain does not end like this rain will. But
fortunately, your faith in God is as steady as well. You believe God's
promises. You just have to look through the rain and over the rainbow. I
have always felt close to God when it rains. Maybe its because it has
been a time for me to stop and meditate. Please know that I will always
be thinking of you when it rains and will always remember you in my
prayers.

Thank you
for sharing your son's story with the rest of us. I work at St. Jude and
have never met you and your family, but I do have my big ben bracelet
and am so blessed to know you through your website. I can only imagine
how your hearts must be broken and lonely. Bless Eli for having to go
through this with his best friend and brother in such a short length of
time. He has already experienced loss greater than I have and I am
pretty old (smile). Just wanted you to know we appreciate you and am
praying for you.

I have
never met you but have followed your story. These new pictures are so
beautiful, and I am sitting here at my computer crying over what has to
be the most painful loss for you. Your faith is incredible and will help
you through this time. I have given my two sons extra hugs and sent my
donation to St Jude in memory of Ben. You have accomplished so much in
his memory with the money that has been raised. Hopefully a cure can be
found for this horrible disease soon.

What an
amazing description of Eli. The experiences he has had in his early
life, God will use. How precious to hear of your son on his knees
praying for his brother. God surely has something special for Eli's
life. If more parents taught their children to pray at an early age,
what a different world we would live in. Eli, you are a very special
boy. Your parents are blessed beyond measure by God sending you into
their life. You and Ben, although Ben's life was short, but a very
powerful life indeed. I'm sure at this point they sure can use your
little arms around their necks. Hug and kiss Mommy and Daddy, they sure
love you a lot. God Bless you and your family in a very special way.
Still praying here for you all.

Way to go
Ben!!!! What an amazing amount to St Jude's. So glad there are still
people in this world that cares for others. Ben touched more lives than
any of us could ever imagine. Thik of the research that can happen, all
because of Ben. He's surely smiling in heaven at what he is still doing
here on earth. What an amazing child. Thank you Bowens for sharing and
still sharing this story. Keep on, keeping on!!!!!!!! Praise God!!!!

Some
months ago, you started an entry "I know a hero." Thank you so much for
sharing Ben's story. He is a hero for sure. How blessed I am to know a
bit of his life, spirit, and continuing story. Know what, Ben? I know
three more heroes. I bet you are so proud of your Mommy, Daddy and big
brother. I know I sure am. Seems you came from a family of heroes, sweet
Ben. Heavenly Father, please bless the Bowen's all -- and thank you so
much for each and every one of them.

Your
whole family is on my mind today. Without ever having even met the
little guy, my heart still breaks over the loss of Big Ben. I so
appreciate the fact that when you write, you don't try to spiritualize
things by not acknowledging the incredible amount of pain you are all
in, in so doing it shows people that we are hopeless without God to see
us through the darkest hours of our lives, and that is what He is doing
with the wonderful Bowen family, taking you by the hand, one day at a
time and giving you sufficient grace. My prayer is that He will continue
to do so and I know He will, because we serve an awesome God. Thank you
for adding new pictures, I look at them and cry, but at the same time
they bring a smile to my face. May the peace of the Father be with the 3
of you each and every day. Blessings, Karen F.

Tom &
Jenifer, Melissa and I are praying for you and your family as you go
thru this hard time. I know words can not describe what you have been
thru. Our hearts just breaks for you. Your story has touched so many
lives and will continue doing so. Courtney is getting ready to turn 6
years old in a couple of weeks. It breaks my heart that daddy's little
girl is growing up so fast. I hold her and admire her every chance I
have. I don't know how we would survive without our little angel! We
will continue to pray for you and Eli. God has a reason for everything,
some things we will never understand. God Bless You and your family.

To be
concerned for Eli is only normal. But as with most children he had
already had it all figured out. Children don’t doubt or question the
answers they are given. He trusts his parents and knows you guys and God
loves him. What else is there? Eli ran with the journey. He prayed when
needed and didn’t waste a minute of time loving and praying with his
brother. He loved Hanna for herself as well as the other friends at St.
Jude. Eli unlike others asked there names NOT why they are there. He
didn’t care they are children and he played with them as if they were as
normal as children he sees at school. As you had to leave and move to
care for Ben. Eli was giving him all he had as well. What he knew to
give love and prayers. You his parent taught him that. He will be a
great, caring, and loving man, because you loved and taught him. I LOVED
Ben’s newest pictures. You can see the love and dedication in his face.
Making an impact with everyone he met. And still is with the money from
his bands. I am so proud of Ben and

am so proud of Ben and Eli. Ben’s tumor may have grown faster then they
predicted. But there was no way they could predict the love between
these boys and the love they share with so many others. God bless you
all and you’ve got my prayers.

Dear Tom,
Jennifer and Eli, I continue to lift you up to the Throne Room each day.
I will pray for your wisdom and strength as parents, and your faith to
continue to carry you through each new day as it comes. My heart still
aches for all of you, but I am also overjoyed by your witness as you
walk in God's plan. I am excited to see how He will continue to use all
of you (and that includes Ben)to further His Kingdom. Love in Christ,

Love the
new pics........although sadden by them. The wristband project is
amazing. I know the patients of St. Jude's are truly thankful for your
gracious gift. I am thankful because this helps my cousin McKinley
receive the treatments she needs at St. Jude's. For its people like you
that make this possible by the work you are doing, by the loving people
across the world buying the wristbands in honor of Ben, and most of all
our Lord and Savior. Thank you so much. You have been such a blessing to
so many. I pray God will richly bless you as you have others. Give Eli
XOXOXOXO's. I continue to pray for peace and wisdom for your
family...Thoughts & Prayers.
