forward to tonights update. Hope your Easter was as happy as it could be
at this time. Ben is surely sitting with Christ who has risen. Thank God

Hi Guys,
I hope all of you had a good Easter, i just know that Ben is sitting
with Jesus watching you everyday. You were on my mind all day yesterday,
wondering how you were spending Easter, if you were ok, how things were
going. You are always in my prayers and in the prayers of my family,
many of my friends and even some total strangers that i just happened to
tell them about Ben. I pray for your comfort and peace everyday. I know
that things start running together after you've heard them over and over
again but you can't say it enough.

Dear Tom,
Jennifer and Eli, Just wanted you to know that I think of you each
day...sometimes while driving, when I hear "The Valley Song", sometimes
while cooking dinner (Ben's picture hangs on a memo board in our
kitchen) and often at night when it is quiet here, and I know there too.
The girls and I are not going to forget Ben. He touched our lives so
deeply. We feel blessed to have been even a tiny part of his life. As I
read the updates, my heart breaks for the pain you must bear, but I am
thankful that it is not alone. Having just celebrated Easter reminds me
that our Abba Father know what it is like to lose a child to death, so
it is He that will comfort you unlike I can. I also get excited when I
read the updates. After leaving your house a few weeks I became and
remain hopeful about how God is going to awesomely use your words, your
trials, your joy and your pain to share hope with others. For this end I
pray for strength and wisdom for the both of you! Believing with you...
Joy

Bowen
family, I thought I would drop you a line and see how you all are
doing...I think of you often and pray for you all at night. I have been
working with some of my friend's kids, trying to teach them about Ben
and how he impacted so many lives...It's hard to put in to words. During
the process of trying to get my friend's five-year-old daughter to
understand about Christ, I realized that Ben has changed me. I have
always been the kind of person to give and give and give until there was
no more...Ben's story changed not only my personal life, but my
Christian life as well. I thought I would let you know that. Praying for
you all

I can not
even begin to know the pain that you feel. Just know that my heart hurts
for you. I don't really know why I carried such a burden in my heart for
Ben. I would always pray for any sick child that I heart about, but for
Ben I spent hours praying and studying the Word of God. That's not at
all like me. What made me do that? There has to be a reason. I don't
know why Ben had to die, but I honestly believe that God used Ben to
open the world's eyes about childhood cancer. To get everyone to start
praying and opening their wallets to fight this horrible disease. I know
that it doesn't ease your pain any, but something good will come from
all of this. Not just the things that we have already seen, but
something greater than we can comprehend right now. I really believe
that.

I just
saw your St. Jude commercial for the very first time. I was half
watching Animal Planet and half working on my laptop. I heard your voice
and looked up... There was sweet Big Ben smiling that smile. It was
wonderful to see him again. I got to see him playing with his mommy and
daddy... How beautiful. I still think of you all the time. How is Eli?
Praying for you still, Amanda

Hey Tom,
Jennifer and Eli I thought of you all this weekend. Ask and you shall
receive, I'm still here praying for you all. Your loss, unimaginable.
When I was 2, my mother died, my grandparents took guardianship of me,
growing up I always asked my Grandma if she missed my mom as much as I
did. She said the pain is unexplainable, physical even; eventually she
had to view my mother's absence as she was on a trip, a great one and
one day we'll all be on that great trip together. I pray so much that
God be abundant in his peace on your hearts and minds. We need to pray
for your healing now.

I check
up on your family daily. I am humbled by the whole experience of knowing
you and Big Ben. Somehow I love him and miss him, but have never met
him. I pray for peace and guidance for you and your family in this
difficult time. Wishing you could turn back time just for a bit, and
praying that Ben comes to you in your dreams and gives you all a big hug
and kiss. God bless you.

I can't
imagine the pain your heart feels. Losing a child would have to be the
greatest loss a parent has to face. Your family has faced this heart
break with such grace & faith. Although I know there have been & there
will be many more tears, the memories of Ben will always be in your mind
and heart. I will continue praying for your family and for the wisdom
you will need in the coming days and weeks. Thank God we have him to
lean on and talk to when our hearts have been broken beyond words. Thank
you again for sharing your son with me. It's a precious gift I will
NEVER forget.

Though I
too miss Ben. It is nothing like your loss. I miss the possibility of
him having a normal childhood. Of being….. So relieved there is no more
pain in his life. He endured what no child should. He should have been
playing and aggravating Eli like all little brothers do. You and
Jennifer should still have your jobs doing what you thought was best for
your boys. Jennifer always had a plan for three children. You should be
planning your third child not searching for a new normal. Shouldn’t be
grieving.. This I do not understand. WHY?? I often ask. I have also come
to the realization there isn’t always answers. I continue to pray for
you all as you try to find your way back into the world. Glad most of
the time you are OK. Glad you are finding a bigger good then focusing on
the negative. I don’t think I would be as strong and understanding.
Still praying and believing. I cannot but to admire your strength. Stay
well and focused. Hugs to Eli.

We miss
Ben too. We read your updates daily or several times a day to see how
The Bowens are doing. We want you to know that you inspire so many of us
to keep going when we have "bad days". Please keep posting updates as
soon as you can. Tell Eli we want to hear about his party plans for his
upcoming birthday. Love and prayers tonight and every night. God Bless.

We all
are missing Ben with you. I continue to pray for wisdom and peace for
you Tom, Jen, and Eli. Think of all the good times that you can. I know
this little boy went through more than we will ever in a lifetime. Your
world stopped to take care of your child the best you could and you done
everything in your power. Now you have time on your hands and are faced
with what now. God will help you through this....this is my daily prayer
for you. I can't imagine what your going through.....thoughts and
prayers!

Hi Guys!
We are praying with you for guidence and wisdom to continue to go where
God is leading! My heart aches with you in missing Ben, even though
there are words of comfort and strength, you still want them in your
arms! There are days when I wonder what my son Steven would be doing if
he were still here, but then I realize his child like joy and innosence
has not been marred by this world, and what a joy to know he is waiting
for his Mama to come and raise him in Heaven! I truly believe God will
give us that privilage! Can you imagine raising your child in the most
perfect conditions!! That is my hope and joy I hold onto and I pray it
is your too! We love you and are here for you! Jeff & Marie & boys

Tom and
Jennifer, I heard you met a good friend of mine yesterday. I want one of
those ladies size bracelets. My wrist is so small that the other one
falls off. We are having a lil lambs sale at church this weekend so I
will be out quite a bit, but I would love to hear from you. Also, I need
to see if you guys are going to be available to come down on May 14th.
(Walk-a-thon) Wasn't the Huntington radioathon this past weekend? I
think Brian and I forgot to call in. We love you and give Eli a big hug
from us! Amanda Brian Joshua and Mckinley
