Dear
Bowen Family, I heard about Ben from another site. My husband was at
Promise Keepers in Memphis when Ben was there. He and Eli are such
precious little ones. My daughter (2 1/2 years) loves watching the
Mickey video on your site. Please know that I'm praying for you. Take
care.

Tom &
Jenn: We understand how heavy your hearts must be for Tammy & David and
sweet little Hanna. It's unfathomable the suffering these children have
endured and it's hard to begin to understand. We can only offer this
word, that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in time
of trouble. He is a shield for you, the lifter up of your head. We
continue to pray for you all, and stand in faith that the seed and the
root of Ben's cancer is dying. We love you all. Standing in agreement
with you, T&N

Our
hearts break for Hanna and her family tonight; Bob Barbour gave our
congregation an update this morning and ask us to pray fervently for the
family. Although we know with our minds and hearts that His plans are
always perfect and that giving back Hanna to the one who gave her life
is the destination for all who believe, it is still so difficult to say
good-bye for the remaining time we have here before we too go home. We
look forward to spending eternity with Hanna and long for the time to be
short until He comes to claim us. You have no idea what a privilege you
have granted us by sharing Hanna's story, but how powerless we feel. We
keep repeating "in our weakness, he is strong." We are praying for Ben's
tumor to be dying and the bleeding to cease. As always, we love you
four.

Dear
Bowen Family, I have been so encouraged by your faith and love for God.
I am Kerin (Louie's Mom)Hentz's cousin and learned about Ben through
Louie's web page. I just wanted you to know that we are praying
constantly for all the children at St. Jude. I know you are aware of how
God works through you but I also know that it doesn't hurt to hear how
much your story means to other people. You family is such an inspiration
to me. We will continue praying and believing with you.

Tom and
Jennifer, After reading your post tonight, after checking the web,
several times today, waiting for an update on a little guy that I do not
even know, from a family I do not know, I realized all that really
matters is that we share the same Father... and brothers and sisters
care about each other. Families were God's plan and what a wonderful
thing. Your words are so much better than mine, but our hearts speak the
same language, PLEASE...God, DO IT AGAIN. Heal Ben, Heal Hanna.. Teresa

I wanted
to share this with you all, and you can share it with Hanna's parents,
if you feel it would help them at all when the time is right. I have a
friend and she keeps a web journal. Recently, her good friend's little
boy died unexpectedly. He was 11 years old. My friend, Donna, has been,
understandably, very distraught about this, as have her children.
Donna's friend sent her a letter of condolence that she posted here:
http://nativeborn.bravejournal.com/entry/5522 and it is so good and
makes a lot of sense. I don't know, I just thought it was beautiful. I'm
sure Donna would want me to share it with you all and others who could
benefit from it. I hope Ben is doing well tonight and I am praying for
him, Hanna, and all your other friends. I wish I could do more.

I have
been praying for your family for some time now though I have never
signed on to introduce myself. I am a friend of Hanna's, and the mother
of four beautiful children. My youngest daughter Abbi, is a patient at
St. Jude. We have been very blessed in that we live only twenty miles
from the hospital, so if there is ever a time that our family can do
anything for you guys please know that we are right here. I have just
this week created a website for Abbi in order to get some information
out on a new project I'm working on for St. Jude, and to share her
story. If you find time, I would love for you guys to visit so you can
see her beautiful smile. www.caringbridge.org/ms/abigail/ I added
several photos so it takes a few minutes to watch the slideshow, but it
is worth it to see that she never quit smiling no matter what she had
been through. As I look through the photos of Ben on this site, I see
the same strong spirit in him. I pray that God will heal Ben, and carry
each of you through the rest of his treatment. My family

Okay, so
I guess I should have paid attention to the word limit per entry. You'll
need to scroll down to my first entry. ^ What I didn't get to say in the
last entry was that My family and I spent the day at the St. Jude Dream
Home for the big giveaway. Although Abbi did not feel the need to stand
in the heat outside with the other patients in order to help pull the
tickets, she had a big time in the cool air of the dreamhome where she
helped herself to all of the yummy goodies provided by the "Ladies of
St. Jude". Anyway, the event raised over $700,000.00 for research and
treatment! Hopefully by the time Ben is old enough to look back through
his scrapbooks, the word "Research" will have been dropped from St.
Jude's title. We truly witnessed a miracle while Abbi was in ICU, I
would love to share her story with you sometime. Please feel free to
contact me. May the Lord bless you and keep you, Jodi

Dear
Bowen Family, I just want you to know that prayers are being lifted for
you all especially for Mr. Ben, Miss Hanna and for your comfort and
peace during this difficult time. Our hearts break for the hardships our
precious babies face and though we will never understand here on earth,
we know that God is mighty and in full control of every situation. I've
often said there are a boat load of questions I want to ask Him but when
that time comes, it won't matter anymore - we'll have full understanding
and a peace beyond anything we can comprehend. God is so gracious in
sharing His children with us in even the most trying of times. I know
that He placed Mrs. Tammy & Miss Hanna in your path at preciously the
right time and what a blessing He has given when we least expect it
most. And He knew that you all would be priceless treasures to their
family and always there for them with your God gifted love, comfort &
support. We met them thru mutual St. Jude family, Monica, Sarah Claire &
Mimi Sharyn in March of this year. Even tho

I was
drawn to your website from following Aletha McIlrath's website. As you
can see, we are from the same town as the McIlrath's. From your website
I went to Hannah's website. I just checked her site this morning and
tears are rolling down my face. Both of your families have and will
continue to be in my prayer. I'm sure I also was drawn to your site
since we have a Ben our our own.

I have a
heavy heart for you and Hanna's family right now. The only comforting
thought is that Hanna is free from all pain now. I will pray for Eli
through this. My three year old just asked me why I was crying and I
don't even know how you begin to explain something like this to a child.
Tammy & David are blessed to all you guys in their lives.

Tom &
Jennifer, I am so sorry to hear about Hanna leaving everyone behind to
go be with the Lord. I am sure that you guys are hurting and grieving. I
am sure that it is also hard to be there for little Eli right now and
help him to understand what has happened to his friend. I don't have a
lot of words right now, but please know that there are so many of us
that are believing God for Ben's healing, even if you may be discouraged
right now with the passing of this beautiful girl. For right now, grieve
and do what you need to do. There are many that are holding you guys up
in prayer! God is hearing your cries and ours! Blessings and Tears!
Mindy

Eli, you
are especially on my heart right now. You are a precious big brother and
you were a precious friend to Hanna. Honey, your heart is surely hurting
along with everyone else. You know that Jesus loves you and that you'll
play with Hanna again in eternity. You're going through very big things
for a very little boy. You're so cute with your red hair. Hold all these
memories very close to you and continue to love Jesus with all your
heart. Go kiss little Ben.
