praying for Ben throughout the day. Hope the transfusion helps to allow
him to begin the next round of chemo so that this cancer will ALL go
away!!! Saw the St. Jude commercial for the first time today-awesome! I
know it has already touched many lives and I pray in brings in an
outpour of support for St. Jude and all they are doing for Ben and all
the children there. You remain wrapped in His arms, Mary Ann

I hope
your Big Ben feels better tomorrow. Me and my mom are praying for your
son. He will grow up to be a great Christian. Thank you for sharing your

What a
GREAT story on the news! It really shows that Ben's Story IS much bigger
than this. No one can bring me to tears like this little boy. Our

Jophie and I are still hangin out at the Cabell spa and wanted to let
you know no matter where I am, I am still very much in warrior mode....
The news segment was great! We saw you on first at five and then later
on the 6 o'clock news. Deanne Stein did a great job!
You all look great and through Bens smile I can see his spirit has not
been broken and what a big helper Eli is!
May his loving arms be forever wrapped around you all giving you the
courage and much needed strength to face this ever changing, tough
journey.
Make no mistake Bowens. God IS indeed already paving your way on this
road and equipping you with the tools you will need for this battle.
Still storming those gates of heaven!

MaryEllen
and Scott Black are very good friends of ours, and have kept us updated
on Ben and his prayer needs. We are not only "family in the Lord', but
have also been connected by cancer. Our daughter had cancer at age
3...resulting in her eye being removed. Annie and Caroline have a
special bond because of their commoon link with cancer. Just wanted you
to know that we are praying for you. The verses I held on to during
Caroline's cancer were the many scriptures that speak of God "hiding us
under the shelter of His Wing". What a beautiful image to think on!
Romans 8:29 was also a great encouragement to me as well....knowing that
this trial in ourlives was conforming us all into the image of Christ.
No trial or tragedy is ever wasted...He redeems them all for His glory.
May our gracious Heavenly Father bring you great comfort in this great
heartache. Our hearts break for you. As your family in the Lord, we
stand with you and kneel with you ...for Ben. He hides him under the
mighty shelter of His Wing.

Me and my
son Zachary, who wrote to you last night, are quite the prayer warriors
lately. I just want you to know how much you ALL have touched the lives
of my 7 year old son. We talked about Ben & what he will be like as a 7
year old. My son is very protective of Big Ben and said he doesn't want
anyone messing with him when he gets to Zachary's age. I assured him
that Big Brother Eli would protect his brother always! It's amazing to
see a child's perspective on a situation such as this. My son has a huge
heart for others and the Holy Spirt of God (saved at age 5!)....does it
get any better? I am truly blessed with my family, but feel that God is
working in my life as well as many others who are touched by YOUR story.
God is using Ben...of all the people in the world, he chose Ben to help
work in the lives of son many! What an honor for you and your family! An
honor with great sacrifice. I pray continually and believe! Hang in

I was
coming home today my boys where playing and laughing in the back. The
sun warming my face and the wind blowing so peacefully. I thought of
Ben. Said a prayer for him. Then I turned on the radio. Flipping
stations. I heard about a boy in WV with a rare brain tumor. It was Ben.
I turned it up. It proceded to say how he was at St. Judes and you could
read more about him and gave his web site. It was just a few seconds.
But great to hear how special he is and how people can support him, your
family, and say a prayer for such a great kid. I dont even know what
radio station it was. But it made my day. I hope others heard it. I just
read your recent update. It sounds like a rough time there. I wish there
was away I could help with your physical situation. Trying to rest and
do for everyone. I will continue to pray for Ben and for his safety and
well being. For his little friends. None of them should be there. They
should be outside somewhere being kids. Enjoying the sun and wind. Stay
well Bowens. Stay focused.

Jennifer,This is probably not your greatest concern right now, but there
is a new kind of "toothbrush" out now. It's a paper "sleeve" that fits
on your finger, so you can brush your teeth whenever you want. But it
might be a way to brush Ben's teeth without the bristles. I know I feel
alot better when I'm nauseated if my teeth and mouth are clean. We're
still holding all of you up in prayer.
