From the
beginning God is a healer, in Num. 12:13 Moses asks God to heal his
sister from leprosy. God gave restrictions, after a period of time she
was healed. 2Kings 20:5 God tells Isaiah to tell Hezekiah "I have heard
your prayers and seen your tears; I will heal you". And God did after a
period of time. This same God can heal Ben, in His perfect time - for
His purpose and His Glory. Still seeking, praying, and believing.

Happy
Birthday Tom, so sorry I didn't get this to you sooner. We are praying
for you and Jennifer and the boys. Just remember the same God that gives
the flowers there colors and keeps the tiniest bird in the air is the
same God who knows you, Jennifer, Eli and Ben individually and you are
all the apple of His eye. Praise His Holy name.

You will
be in our prayers this week. Once again, I , as a parent, can't even
begin to comprehend what you going through or where you find the
strength to handle it. I've always heard that it's a strength God gives
you when you need it... No matter what happens , you have used it to
glorify God. I admire you for that. We will keep you in our thoughts and
prayers and on our prayer chains at Highlawn Baptist Church.

my Father to dissipate, absorb and flush in the name of Jesus Christ.
everything breaks and bows at the name of Jesus and He fills us to
completion and overflows. may Ben, Eli and you both as well as ALL of
your friends and little ones experience the peace of Christ that
surpasses all understanding...may He fill you with the comfort, courage
and strength that cannot come from man...may your lives be touched right
now. i truly love you guys.

The
Charleston Police Department and the Metro Drug Unit have been working
to get the Benjamin Bowen Basketball Tournament together for this
weekend at George Washington High School. We contacted some of our
friends to help with the rummage sale, which takes place at GW on
Saturday 6-26-2004. Joni Winkler works at the Teays Valley Christian
School and she sent a flyer home with the children soliciting yard sale
item donations and telling about Bens-story. One of the little children
brought Jonie $5.00 and some change and told Jonie that is all that the
child had in his bank and he wanted the money to go to the little baby.
We have received several notations of $1,000.00 from different people,
but known of the donations will touch you as much as this one. It
reminds me of the lesson in the bible where the lady gave all she had.
Just thought I would share that with you all. We are praying for you and
it is amazing how many lives that Ben has touched. Nahum 1:7 The Lord is
good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth

Hi, Tom
and Jennifer. I am sure you had a hard day, and are hoping for good news
tomorrow. I have been thinking about you guys all day long. I visited
Hanna's website and left a message for her folks this evening. She is on
my prayer list. We're still in the middle of trying to get the house
ready to move in. It is very frustrating, and all of the decisions are
making me crazy, especially since they have to be made on the fly to get
the house done in time. And I wonder if I have made the right decision.
Then I think of you guys and the decisions you are up against, and my
problems seem ridiculous. Your battles are so important, and I pray that
you will make the right decisions, and that God will make them CLEAR to
you. Love, Debbie

Your
family hasn't left my thoughts since meeting you at the Target House
during the Up 'til Dawn seminar. I check Ben's updates regularly and
include him in my daily prayers. Ben and your family are definitely in
the prayers of many, including myself, this week. "Oh my baby, when
you're prayin', leave your burden by my door. You have Jesus standing by
your bedside, to keep you calm, keep you safe, away from harm." - lyrics

I just
listened to the song- he's my son- it is beautiful! Life has just gone
by so quickly lately, I haven't been keeping up with the updates as I
should. You are still in my prayers. I hope you receive good news
tomorrow. I know you must be anxious. Keep believing... :) Our thoughts

Glad to
hear the anesthesia went well today and will be praying thorugh the
night for positive results tomorrow. Brett & Dona e-mailed us earlier
today about Claire. They were both encouraged that they were able to
connect the two of you to her family. God is so good in helping us to
seek out those who can truly understand our fears and concerns. I am
daily amazed how God is using a little boy like Ben and his family to
minister to others in their time of need. Please give Ben an extra hug
from a member of his spiritual family tonight. You continue to be
wrapped in His arms. Mary Ann & Pat

I am
praying for all of you this morning. I pray that Ben's tests would go
smoothly, and that God will give you grace as you await his results. I
pray that the remaining tumor in Ben's brain is gone, and that staff and
families alike would be awestruck by God's power. He can, and He is, and
you are unimaginably precious to Him. I pray that you feel that today.
Psalm 119:92 reminds me of your family. Please know that I am kneeling
with you today.

Father
God, thank you that your Words are spirit and life, that it is forever
settled and shall not pass away, that it does not return to you void and
that you watch over it to perform it. Father we stand on your promises
this morning and place our trust in you that you will show yourself
strong on Ben's behalf and we thank you now for YOUR report - that he is
strong in you and the power of YOUR might. Thank you Father that you
will keep Tom and Jennifer in perfect peace because their minds are
stayed on you and they trust in you. Thank you Father for the assurance
that you change not. In Jesus name, Amen Tom & Jennifer: As you await
the tests result remember that you are strong in the Lord and the power
of his might -no weapon formed again you will prosper. Peter trusted &
stepped out of the boat to do what man said was impossible. And he did
it until he looked at the terrific wind. Even as he began to sink -
Jesus IMMEDIATELY caught him and held him up until they were safely in
the boat. No matter the wind, keep your eyes a

I am so
sorry that I have not been able to sign the guestbook in a while, nor
get back with your mom about rescheduling the rummage sale our church
was going to have for Ben. We have also had some battles to be fought as
well. My husband's grandma had surgery yesterday and found out she has
ovarian cancer. Also, a week ago, my 2 yr old daughter snuck and ate her
great grandma's blood pressure medication and spent the weekend in the
PICU in a coma. While I was sitting there with her, I kept thinking of
you all and Ben. How stressful and awful it was for us, just for one
day, to go through worrying about Klara. I cannot fathom what you are
going through and I truly don't know how you handle it. Only with God's
strength can you possibly do what you are doing daily. You have my
complete admiration and awe of your faith and strength!! I think that
our own crisis (minor compared to yours) has made us pray even harder
for Ben. I am happy to report that Klara is back to normal now...and I
am sure that with prayers and God's gra

Good
Morning Bowen family. Just wanted you to know that your family is still
in my thoughts and prayers. I heard the announcement about the Ben Bowen
basketball tournament on WQBE (97.5) several times over the last few
days. Ben's story is getting out there more and more. Ben's
story....your story is touching so many lives...just take comfort there
is a lot of people praying for this young man and we are all believing
with you.
