note to encourage you that so many are praying. There are so many things
that we do not understand (I personally dont think I will ever
understand kids suffering)BUT we can hold on to the things we do

I found a
couple verses this morning that I hope will encourage you like they did
me: Isaiah 55:9 "For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my
ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts." John
15:16 "Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you,
that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should
remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may
give it to you." Like you keep saying, God is not at all surprised by
what is taking place. He has a reason for us to be where we are at this
very moment, and the "fruits" that you have yielded while there in
Tennessee will not return void. Keep believing! God isn't finished yet.

recently heard about Ben's story from an article in the Wayne County
News, our church the Wayne United Methodist is having a fundraiser on
Saturday for Ben. My husband and I are leaders in the cub scout pack

Heavenly Father, thank you for this glorious day you have given us.
Thank you for Ben Bowen and his beautiful family. I ask Lord that you
give this family everything they need to get through this week...your
love, your grace, peace that you are in control, and hope for the
future. Most of all Lord I pray for healing of young Ben. Please heal
his body as only you can do. Give the medical community a miracle as
they have never seen before. I pray that you give wisdom to the drs and
health care workers involved in Ben's care. Guide them to accurately
assess Ben's situation and his tests. Lord, right now the Bowen's need
your guidance. Many decisions will arise and they need your wisdom to
make the correct ones. Please help this family to know that as long as
Your will is their goal that any decisions they make will be the right
ones! Thank you Lord for all the blessings you have given this family. I

got to check on Ben in the last few days, due to being at conference in
Dulles, Virginia. Wendy got the pictures developed from the trip to see

really good. Also, you would not imagine how many people have called
from all over around here wanting to donate items to this rummage sale!
I HOPE people come buy all this stuff! If they do you are going to be
set up! We have toddler bed, double strollers, purses, shoes, clothes,
books, toys, etc. My son, Jared, wanted to SEND the stuff to Ben. I told
him I didn't think you all would be able to handle all that lol. But,
really, I just wanted you to know how much people around here have been
rallying to make this rummage sale a huge success & that everyone is

thousands of others, I am agreeing with you in your prayer for wisdom-
and thanking God in advance for giving it to you as His word promises He
will. Please know that His promises CANNOT fail and that He has been
with you every second of this process. My heart breaks for you as I try
to imagine your constant routine of tests, shots, doctors, fatigue, and
