I am so
sorry to hear the news about Ben. Our God is sovereign and for reasons
we will never understand on this side of heaven this is his plan for
Ben. As the song by Steven Curtis Chapman says, "God is God and I am
not. I can only see a part of the picture he's painting. God is God and
I am man. I will never understand it all for only God is God." I
remember hearing this song after Aidan was diagnosed and sobbing through
the end when they say "Great is Lord. Holy, Holy Great is the Lord".
Even in the midst of your (our) heartache his will is being done. If God
is watching the smallest sparrows he is definitely carrying Big Ben in
his arms! Every second of every day someone in this world is praying for

We are
heartbroken and sick to our stomachs after reading today's update. We
are not, however, surprised to hear that Big Ben is not letting that
tumor slow him down - as you would say, surely evidence of God's grace.
We will continue to keep you in our prayers, and look forward to seeing
you soon. We are here if you need anything during your visit (as if we
have anything here that the Grand Floridian doesn't have!), and please
know that we are sending all of our love.

sorry to hear that the news wasn't good. He is so beautiful. I am glad
to hear that he is acting great and doesn't seem to be experienceing any
pain. I wish there was something I could say but it wouldn't be enough.
I have a 23mth old and it just breaks my heart that you have to deal
with this. He is such a precious angel. I hope you all get to enjoy
Ben's trip to disney world. My love and prayers are with you.

Dear God,
Thank you for Ben's wonderful 2-yr. old smiles, words, hugs, and
playtime today! Thank you for the St. Jude friends and support team that
provide so much love and caring. Thank you for the love that Eli and Ben

amaze me at the constant faith and love that you have for god even
