Dear
Bowen Family My son is a survivor of non-Hodgkins Lymphoma and was a
patient at St. Jude. Isn't it funny how we are connected even over long
distances and times. We will be praying for your family and will
remember you in our hearts daily. Your name "Big Ben" is going up on my
computer where I can see it and say a prayer for you whenever I look at
it. Be strong and know that many of us who have been there will know
where your "not strong" places are and will be putting in "Eli prayers"

I just
needed to share this with you. This morning we were driving down Rt. 60
and Ripley (My 4 year old) said to Harper (My 2 year old) "Look Harper,
there's Ben (She saw the billboard)" She then said "I am going to pray
for him. Dear God, thank you for Ben. Thank you for helping him and
please get him better. You are magical with special powers and I know
you can get him better, Amen" So young and innocent but so understanding
that God CAN do anything. It was such an uplifting moment. I hope that
it uplifts you too. God Bless and Still Believing........

now i am hearing the song "He's my son" and it makes me cry i love it a
lot i am now requestioning my faith am i realy giving my life to God? am

Our

am so sorry to hear the latest update. I have been praying for Ben's

told us about our daughters relapse and then some. We also thought about
why treatment had worked for some but not for us. You sound so strong,

been following your family updates for many months, and keep you

I came
across Ben's page some time ago and I have been following it and keeping
you all in my prayers. I sit each night and check on all of these
children and I am so impressed with peoples faith and wonder if my
children were sick could I remain so faithful - I can only guess that is

Saying
special prayers for you all. This world is a better place for having you
all in it. In such a short time -- both Ben and his courageous, loving
spirit -- and Eli with His astounding, pure, childlike (can't you just
see God smiling?)love and faith -- and you Tom and Jennifer have been
used so magnificently. God will continue to work and to move. He will
work everything together for His good purposes. He is indeed the God of
comfort, strength and grace. He is a shelter and will let you hide in
Him. I can just imagine Him gently comforting and protecting Ben even
now...as he goes about each day. (and you all) I know you want nothing
more than your boy to be okay. I thank you and praise God for all of you
-- you have changed me and saved me. I love you all. Please feel the
love of many surrounding you. I am sad and I am sorry...I am still
believing...know that many continue to pray.
