Way to
go, Ben! You are a very brave and strong young man. I know that you and
your family must be so happy to be going home although I'm sure you will
miss your new friends and St. Jude. I am so thankful that your parents
have continued to update your site. I pray for you daily. I have a
friend who was recently diagnosed with stage 4 cancer (breast and
liver). Tests Friday showed no sign of cancer at all! The doctors told
her that they couldn't explain it. She told them that she could...GOD
HEALED HER! I know this is different from your cancer, but I wanted to
mention this because I know that miracles DO happen. Your parents have
taught me to Believe! Your story has touched my heart and I will
continue to pray for you and your family. Take care and enjoy being at
home. Many, many people are praying for your complete healing. It can
happen. I believe that! Thank you for sharing your story, even to
strangers like myself.

we have not been as diligent as we should have please know that Ben and

I'M SURE
YOU'RE GLAD TO BE COMING HOME. YOU ARE SO RIGHT IN PROTECTING HIM FROM
GERMS. AS I'M SURE YOU HEARD IN THE NEWS, 1/2 OF THE NATIONS FLU VACINES
WERE CONTAMINATED AND HAD TO BE DESTROYED. PART OF THAT WAS COMING TO
OUR AREA. THERE IS GOING TO BE A LOT OF FLU OUT THERE...SO STAY SAFE.
OUR PRAYERS GO WITH YOU AS WE STILL ASK FOR GOD'S MIRACLES

My
prayers are with you as you journey home. Then, the journey
continues..enjoy your time together at home and I will keep you in my
prayers and I pray that God will help you all in whatever the future
holds. I believe in miracles...and they come in all shapes and sizes...I
will pray for miracles. My precious grandmother always said to pray for
guidance and mercy. May God wrap you all in his arms and give you
peace...and guidance and mercy. Amen.

Tom &
Jennifer, Welcome home! I hope everyone heeded your advice and will
contact you first. Don't let people overwhelm you ...they will get it
eventually. I know it can be scary and overwhelming to be back home. The
hospital was a "safe" zone. People sometimes think home means better.
Our son had a ganglioglioma and it was "HUGE" as the doctor called it.
Way over 7 cm. I always check on you guys and think how blessed he was
(ironic huh?). Let people help you with stuff like the groceries and
errands. They love to help and it blesses them but most of all....be a
family. I am praying for you still. Since March actually. Gail Dowling

I pray
that you had safe travels as you returned to Huntington. My prayer is
also that Ben's days ahead are good and you remain strong as he fights
as hard as he can. Ben's determination through this battle has been
amazing to watch, and I know he'll continue to amaze us for many more
days to come. God is working through Ben's life, and I know you are
proud of your son. I pray for comfort, peace, and a family filled time
for your family. Enjoy being home! As scary as I know it is to be away
from St. Jude's, you are never away from God's healing touch no matter
where you are. The Divine Physician can be reached at any point, so take
comfort in that grace. May He bless you and keep you in the coming days
of this journey! In Christ, Angela Bennett

Hey Guys,
So glad to hear that you are home sweet home. There is just no feeling
when you get to the state line and see that big West Virginia sign! I
completely understand about screening visitors. You have to be bold in
saying that. You may hurt a loved one's feelings, but if they were the
parent, they would do the same. I kept a sign on my front door that
stated "WASH YOUR HANDS FOR MCKINLEY'S SAFETY." Everyone that entered
was screened and knew to directly and wash their hands. I know it will
be busy for you guys, so we will wait for you to call us and then we
will come to Huntington when it is convienent for you. We love you guys
and tell Ben and Eli we miss them. Amanda and Brian
