has BEN changed this evening by a little boy who looked at me smiled and
blew me a kiss. This special gift, a special moment from a very special

I just
had a question Is Ben finished with all of his chemotherpy? Emily had
Chemo for 12 runs then radation for 6weeks and know we will finish chemo
for another 35 weeks. I know you are busy so just take note of my e-mail
and answer when you can. I check Ben's site almost daily, but my prayers
are with you daily.

CHEMO! I know that it is bittersweet! I am praying for you guys. I
continue to pray that God will take Ben's tumor away, PERMENANTLY! I am
also praying for Tom as he travels away from family to do some exciting
and difficult work. Jennifer, you are in my prayers as you manage Eli
and Ben alone. I am excited for you guys, but also a little bit teary.
Take care, and know that the God of the universe watches over all of
you. He knows the numbers of hairs on your heads (or in Ben's case, the
lack of hairs). He knows you and knows your needs. I am impressed by
your faith and I know that our Father in Heaven rejoices over it! God

family, I am overwhelmed as I read of the continuing challanges you are
facing. I am a St.Jude grandpa, Alethea McIlrath is my grand-daughter.
You are all in my prayers everyday. Your struggle fatigues me just to
read about it. Know the Lord will provide you with the strength and
wisdom to deal with what is ahead. I spent several nights with Ali at
St. Judes and rejoiced at even the slightest good news. I pray for

My
husband was with the Federal Protective Agency and responded to the
first WTC bombing as well as Oklahoma City. He is also a Vietnam Veteran
who carried the body of one of his fellow MP's over a hill so that the
family would be able to have a proper burial. Even though all of these
events are long since past, he still struggles with the memories and
especially the aniversary dates of these events. It is with that common
thread, and also the fact that we too have two young sons, that I send
my most heart felt prayers for your family. May God be with you all and

writing this on behalf of the other side of Hanna's family,her fathers
side.We have never been given the chance to meet but, If your family was
as good to Hanna, as we have heard you were, you are very wonderful

Jennifer, I pray for your continued faith and wisdom while you are alone
with your boys while Tom is out of town. You and your family are truly
inspirational and I am so thrilled to hear about Ben's energy level. You
know I am so encouraged by this and even though the Docs have given
little hope - I am very optimistic about tomorrow's treatment plan.
Probably one year ago the treatment that Ben is receiving today may not
have been an option. God is still in control. I will continue to pray
for you friend and continue to request prayer for you and yours as well.

I saw a
woman at school today--parent of one of my students from last year--and
was astounded. The doctors had done all they could do, and the mother
was not expected to live long....last March. She has stopped her
medication, eliminated her oxygen tank, and is pain free from her
cancer. She looks wonderful. She attributes it to faith and prayer, and
in her case a laying-on-of hands and prayer. There is no other
explanation. She is a walking miracle, and treasures each day as a gift.
Yes, God IS bigger, and we remember that as we pray for Ben. Hugs to
you, Jennifer, as you have a few days on your own!

Eli & Ben, Hope everything is going smooth while Dad is on his journey
to the little town (Huntington) and then on to the big city (NYC). We

little girl Savannah is 4 and she knew Hanna. Every day she tells me to
