Friends
in Christ, I stood in the Pyramid (Memphis) with my oldest son,
applauding your faith and your courage. I prayed for you then as I do
now. I'm struck with emotion each time I think of that moment at the PK
rally, and when I realize what you as parents must endure on a daily
basis. As a father myself, I know how painful it is just to see your
children injured or hurting, I can't imagine what it must be like with
your situation. As a 25 yr veteran of law enforcement I feel even more
in touch with you and your personality, even if we have never met. I
trust that God's will, will be done your lives. Until we know for sure
what that will is, you and Ben are in my and my families thoughts and
prayers. God Bless You.

Thinking
about you again so much today and tonight...and somehow everytime that I
do it is with our Father's loving arms around you all and His angels
surrounding you. Praying you love and peace, comfort and strength,
healing and hope, and for God to reveal a plan to you that is beyond
your wildest imagination. Because we can't imagine the depth of His
power -- it is so easy to limit what we think He can do -- He is

again my friends in Christ... I just wanted to add that I have such a
sense too of God's protection and care for Eli as well. How much he has
been through and seen and sacrificed, and with the understanding of just
a little boy. God is protecting His heart and will no doubt use all of
this to build him up into a man on wisdom and compassion and love and
faith. With the love of Christ I send my love to you...wishing I could
wrap my arms around you all and share the weight of all that you are

finished looking at the "Bowen Family" photos. I love the picture of Eli

Hey guys!
So glad to hear Laura and Eric are there with you. While your support
system continues to grow through Target House friends and this
guestbook, there's nothing sweeter than 'home' friends (what we will all
be one day!). Micah says that the Lord delights in mercy and your
reports from the past few days reflect that. There's an old song whose
refrain came to mind last night while praying for you, 'the blood that
gives me strength from day to day, it will never lose its power.' Father
God, it's a new day and the Bowens have new needs which you already
know. Cover them today with grace and favor, refresh them physically and
empower them with your strength. Thank you Jesus that you've given your
