What a
wonderful family you have! Eli's beautiful red hair and what a great big
brother he is! Big Ben and his adoreable smile even in the face mask. I
have three young sons and I see my boys in yours, the closeness, the
friendship, the beauty of brotherhood. The photos of the boys together
are so touching. I am praying hard for your strength, Ben and Eli's
health, bravery, and innocence, and for being such great brothers and
such wonderful little boys. I pray that Ben will overcome this illness
and that he and Eli will forever be best friends. Your family is loved

We are so
very sorry to here of Ben's struggle we know what you must be going
through our daughter Erin also has ATRT and we are going through her
second relapse. She has been on treatment for over a year now. On
Thursday we will be talking to our own doctors on what we will do next.

I
continue to pray for Bens healing. That his fatigue is from long
demanding days and not tumor growth. You got to be counting down to time
to leave. It will be a much needed recharging period for you all when
you come home to your own stuff and sleep in your own beds. It is
amazing the people you have met and found support in during your time at
the Target house. A great reminder that there are still good people in
the world. I just hate they are there because of an illness. It is great
that you have such a good team of doctors looking after Ben. That has to
help when it is decision time. I tell you what. If I didn’t eat and
people where messing with me all day. I sure wouldn’t be smiling. I
would be a bear. Ben has something that some of us will never have. God
sure loves Ben and gives him what it takes to smile and take on each
day. When it is time to come home. Call I’d love to help out anyway.
Take Eli for a while to play with Alex. Eli is such a good kid. I still
pray for him as well. For understanding a situ

Hi to all
of you, Happy to hear that Ben is handling all the procedures well this
week and that radiation is beginning. I'm praying that there will be
absolutely no side effects from the radiation and that you all can get
home soon and have a time of rest and enjoyment together. You have been
on my mind so much the last few days. This morning on the way to school
I heard a Steven Curtis Chapman song and it reminded me of you all: "His
strength is perfect when our strength is gone. He'll carry us when we
can't carry on. Raised in His power the weak become strong. His strength
is perfect, His strength is perfect." Continue to rest in the Lord and
know that he is holding you and Ben and Eli through this time. He loves
you more than anyone else possibly could. (and that's a whole lot,
because the rest of us really love you:) You are all in my constant
