As we
were praying before bedtime, Emily was praying for Ben and asked
(unprompted) for a miracle telling our Father "we know you can heal Ben
without radiation so please do that". Just like that-so matter of fact.
I want to have the simple faith of a child! We continue to pray for
healing, in faith believing God is working and has life-changing events
in store. For Tom and Jennifer, from a parent's heart, I am lifting you
up...for peace and comfort, rest and strength for each new day. I pray
you will physically feel His arms wrapped around you. Believing with

I wanted
to thank you for your faith and your love. There is so much I wish I
knew how to say, and some things I know no words for. I will say this.
All of you -- and sweet brave Ben -- God has used you all to change my
heart and life. I have struggled for years with trying to overcome a
hurtful, abusive past. Even though I have seen God's hand in all of the
bad (Romans 8:28) -- there has been a bit of sadness that just has not
gone away. In you all I have felt God show me the preciousness and gift
of each day that He gives, no matter what it involves...until that day
when He calls us home. Not only that, but how until that day, we must
live with faith and love and courage and peace knowing that He will not
let us go. Thank you for who you are. You have my appreciation, love and
prayers -- and thankfulness for a lesson learned of God's ultimate love
and faithfulness no matter what we face. And be sure -- God not only
weeps with you and holds you -- even in this -- He will -- and already
is -- working in it all for His good

Dear Tom,
Jennifer, Eli, and Big Ben, We are friends with Tammy. I have been
following your story for some time now. I can not imagine what your
family is going through. I can only tell you that we have been praying
for your family for a long time. I have a little girl who is four that
always wants to look at Hanna and Ben. She tells me "Mommy read me the
story" I am so thankful for your faithfulness because it makes it some
easier to explain when she ask me why are they sick Mommy? We are God's

I cry,
hurt and pray for you guys. I know medically there is no solution. But
GOD has all the solutions. None of us know why we are here. But no one
who has met, prayed and knows your family will allow one day to go by

Bowen's, I am still praying like crazy and believing even more everyday,
I KNOW God can cure Ben, I pray for continued strength, faith,
happiness, good days, smiles, celebrations, relief from physical and
emotional pain, and peace in knowing that God has His plans and won't

Hey guys,
Just wanted you to know that even though we are in good old Norton, VA
we are still praying for Ben. Our church keeps his name in the bullitin
and updates of what's happening so they will keep him in their prayers.
As I read your update today, I reflected back on our journey. God was
good to us and Madison. We always kept our eyes on him. There were bumps
in the road that caused us to look to the side but God always showed us
that he is straight ahead and that is where we had to look. On Feb. 19,
2004, in the ICU Madison woke up one morning crying. When we inquired,
she told us God had come to her and told her she was healed. We have
never let go of that. She is healed. We pray for Ben's complete healing.
God is so great he can heal a hang nail to cancer. We praise him
everyday for what he has done and we will praise him for Ben. We love

Dear Tom
and Jennifer, Everyday,I think about you, Big Ben and Eli, and pray for
you. Prayer is so powerful. This morning as I was getting ready for
church, the chorus to a song kept going over and over in my mind and I
thought of you. It is: He never promised the cross would not be heavy,
or the hill would not be hard to climb; He never offered victory without
fighting, but HE SAID HELP WOULD ALWAYS COME IN TIME! Just remember when
you're standing In the valley of decision and the adversary says give in
JUST HOLD ON!! Our Lord will show up and He will take you through the
fire again. God is good - all the time! He brought Lazarus from the
grave after he had been dead for four days, and healed the woman with an
issue of blood just by her touching the hem of His garment. He knows
your needs and He certainly has the power to heal Big Big! He loves and
cares for you. He sees what Big Ben is going through and is still
facing, and your hurt and pain. We tend to question why, God, why me?
