I have
been following Ben's story and praying for this beautiful family. The
last few days I have been unable to access the updates page; it just
comes up as jumbled letters. Just wondering if anyone else is having
this problem and if you were able to fix it. Also, if you could maybe
post how our little guy is doing I would certainly appreciate it.

be leaving soon for Nicaragua and Costa Rica... we will be gone almost

tell you how cute I think Ben and Eli are? I don't think I did and I
apologize. They are completely adorable! (As if you needed to be told,
huh?) Just wanted to let you know that we still believe and we're still
asking God to remove Ben's tumor and strengthen his body. I pray that
you guys are blessed with "Peace that Passeth Understanding" so you can

I was
reading your updates tonight, and my heart was breaking, and I found
myself wondering again, how can something so terrible happen to such
wonderful, good, undeserving people? Ben is such a special kid, and his
story is touching thousands and thousands. But then it occurred to me
that Ben is just a part of the miracle of your story. Other people could
not convey the powerful message that you've been able to. I can not
begin to imagine the lives changed by your story, and the amount of
faith strengthened. I can't understand why God chose such an undeserving
family, or even if He did. I kind of think this was just a terrible
fluke of nature, that God's heart is broken too, and that his gift to
you has been the faith you have, and your ability to powerfully affect
thousands and thousands. Ben is the sweetest prophet, and you are his
voice. As always, my prayers are with you all.

My son Ryan (8 years old) and I are truley touched by your famaily. Ryan

Jennifer,
I read Ben's site on a daily basis and I go through stages of emotion.
I'll read the updates and my heart is so heavy and I search myself for
something to do. Some way to fix this for you and your precious family.
I often think about when we first met. We worked together for a while
and even had the opportunity to attend Marshall at the same time. You
had just met Tom and had gone out on your first date. I knew all those
years ago that you were a kind gentle hearted person. I'm not sure why
you all were given this trial to struggle through but you are handling
it with much humility and grace. So when I check the site or hear
someone mention Ben Bowen, I say a quiet prayer in my heart and count
myself blessed that my life has been touched by you. I love you.
