After
signing your guestbook last night I was upset and talking to my husband.
Our sons are close in age to Eli and Ben. Mike had already gone to be
and I was on my way. But I had to go smell and kiss my boys one last
time for the night. I kissed Alex who is 4 and peacefully sleeping. Then
to Cameron’s who is 21 months old. He hugged me as I was kissing him so
I laid in bed with him crying for your family and watching him sleep.
Only imagining how helpless you must feel. I laid there asking myself
why would God who is so great allow a child to be so ill. Any child.
When my actions had already answered my question. To see life through a
different set of eyes. Ben’s journey has got be hell for your family. It
is for all who know you guys. But maybe it is life’s journeys that are
so upset setting that make you see who precious life is. Us who keep up
with Ben and his journey are forever changed because of him. No doubt
about it. It is what unfortunate it takes these events to make you see
how precious life is. We take so

As I
write, the radio has played back to back songs that surely were meant
for my heart after reading the update this morning. I sat with fingers
poised & prayer in my heart for you all & sweet strains of music lifted
me. "Come Away" is a dialogue between God & Jesus, about what he was
sent to do & why he did it & how the Father felt as it unfolded & then
the joy that followed as it was finished. "I will find you again" is
about heaven. It was followed with Squire Parsons singing Beulah Land.
You gave a face & reality to salvation Tom when you expressed the agony
of watching Ben's suffering & the anguish of wishing you could take it
upon yourself for him. While that is not in your power, it was in the
hand of our Father yet he loved us so very much. ‘For we have not an
high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities.
We continue to pray for strength in your hearts & bodies, wisdom to
discern the medication needs, & rest & comfort for you all. Believing

your site almost daily. When a few days go by without an entry I am
assuming things are maybe more challenging with Ben. As of your 1/16
entry I see this is the case. My heart breaks for all of you. I continue
to pray for Ben's comfort and pain management, strength and wisdom and
peace for Tom and Jennifer, and love and understanding for Eli. Hang

I am so
sorry these last few weeks have been so challenging. My heart breaks for
your family. It must be so awful to watch your son endure such pain. I
am praying for you and thinking of you constantly. I hoep you will get

Still
praying for Ben and still believing. I am sorry it is so difficult to
keep Ben's pain managed. Is he hooked up to a constant drip of morphine?
That is what really helped our Zachary; he didn't have the extreme
fluctuations in pain levels anymore. Just a thought. God bless you all

Dear
Bowens. It is through the words of your family that I find strength. My
12 week old daughter is scheduled to have a CT scan done tomorrow
morning. There is a possibility that she has Craniosynotosis. I have
gone through every emotion humanly possible over the past few days
thinking that my little baby may have to go through surgery. It's every
parents worst fear that their child has to suffer for any reason.
Bowens, I have been following little Ben's story for months now. I have
cried over Ben's pain and laughed at his pictures that show so much joy
and happiness....Thankyou for helping to get me through this, to know
that there is a higher power who is in total control and that no matter
what, everything will be fine. I pray for you Bowens. I pray for all the
families that are affected in such ways as we are. There is a reason for
everything. And your family is the reason I hug my children a little
longer and tighter and know that everything will be ok. Praying
constantly.......

To the
faithful Bowen family, I don't sign the guest book often, but I check on
Ben every day; and lift your family in prayer. God is able to do so much
more than we as individuals can imagine. He can send the right person at
the right time with the right message. You are in His Hands, and He WILL
take care of every need, every hurt..just keep believing. You inspire
others with your faith, your strength, your humanity. You are important
to God, He will never leave you or forsake you. It's hard to see clearly
through the eyes of emotion; but God sees you clearly, and has
everything under control.

Bowen Family, My heart broke as I read the last two journal entries. I
always take a deep breath before I read them. I have prayed religiously
for Ben (and each of you) each night. He has given me faith that I have
never had before. While I still do not understand why this is happening,
I have learned to BELIEVE IN GOD! I will continue to pray for a MIRACLE.
I pray that Ben (and each of you) get the rest you need. I pray that you
are able to administer the pain medication needed to make him

Dear Tom,
Jennifer, Eli, and "Big Ben, my husband and I check in on your family
and Ben every day multiple times always praying for God to grant a
miracle. Only God knows his perfect will and only he knows the reason
for this. Which makes it so difficult for us to understand. Which is
where faith has to come in. But faith can not always calm emotions. I
sit and lay hands on the picture of a beautiful little boy that I have
never met who makes me sob as I pray for God to heal his little broken
body. And ask God to give his parents the strength and rest they need so
desperately. You are a gift from God for many. Many who needed faith and
inspiration. Know that God has used Bens life in a mighty and powerful
way. I hold my "BIG BEN" bracelet to remeind me of the strength of a

Bowens..I am so sorry. I just cannot imagine what your going through. I
have read the last two updates and I'm so sad but continue to believe. I
pray that you will get rest soon and Ben will not suffer from any pain.
