Tom,
Jennifer, Eli and Especially Ben, I am sending up extra prayers fro all
of you during these upcoming days. I am praying that Ben will find the
much needed rest that seems to elude him. This is definately your time
as a family. You are all so special and loving. The Lord sees this and
is wraping his loving arms around all of you to help you through the
difficult time. I stop in to check on Ben and the rest of you everyday.
I am thankful to Mike who has helped by posting a new update for all of
us out here praying for you. You are always in my thoughts and in my
prayers. Enjoy one another and your time together to the fullest. I will
be thinking of you everyday. Sending you so much love, much needed hugs
and tons of prayers Love to you all, Barb

Dear
Bowen Family, I was so humbled that you took time out of your precious
time to check and sign in on my daughter's website. I will add Ben site
to ours and would be honored if you would do the same. Prayers are the
most precious gift. You said it best in your latest update. A verse that
was shared in church last night keeps coming to mind, especially for
your family at this time..."The NAME of the LORD IS A STRONG TOWER, THE
RIGHTEOUS RUN INTO IT AND ARE SAFE." Proverbs 18:10. Just the name, His
name is a strong tower.... I am praying that as we call upon the Lord
today for your family, that you will feel our prayers and His strength
and love. Thank you again for being such a blessing and for building our
faith in the midst of all that you are going through. We are blessed by
the testimony of precious Ben and your faith. Many prayers...

Ben is so
remarkable. God's hand is on him so much. For Ben to be happy and going
nonstop makes no sense to us, but God is right there with him. What does
this mean? Is God trying to tell us something from how Ben is coping
with his meds? During your exhaustion, just keep listening to what God
is trying to tell you or maybe the gift he is giving you. This is truly
a story that has made an unbelievable difference to so many, and will
continue to do just that. Praying for understanding, rest, peace and
strength for you all. (Also tell Eli, he is one of the cutest little
redheads I have ever seen.)

I'm still
praying for a miracle healing. Even if it looks unlikely now, God is
still in control. It breaks my heart everytime I read a new update, to
hear the pain and exhaustion in your words. But God will give you
strength to endure. Just when you think your strength is gone, that's
when His strength takes over. He has brought you this far. He will see
you all the way through, no matter what the ending may be. How wise and
brave Eli is! I wish I had the faith that he has (all 4 of you,
actually), to just take each day as it comes, not really ask many
questions, just trust and believe God no matter what. May God give you
the strength and rest that you so need to endure this battle. And I pray
for wisdom for the doctors that are working with you, to know the best
pain management methods for Ben. God bless you all. Believing with
you...

Thank you
for the update today. Ben is one tough little guy. Though I have never
had the privilege of meeting precious Ben, he is never far from my
thoughts, nor is your family. I will continue to ask the Lord for rest
and restoration for all of you, and especially for proper pain
management for Ben. I am also praying for special blessings for Eli; he
sounds so precious and wise beyond his years although he is hurting.
Your entire family is such a witness to God's grace and love. Bless you
all.

Please
continue to believe God will answer your prayers. I find it hard to find
words to express my thoughts and feelings of your situation. I pray,
pray, and pray more for my son daily as I know you do for Ben. I ask God
to grant me the ability, through his blessing, to manifest the healing
in Isaiah's body. I feel close to you in the fact that we have both
learned so much from our child. The importance of love, kindness,
family, and friends. Sometimes words cannot soothe what is inside at
times. Hope is something great that only WE can take from ourselves. I
will pray as hard as I can for Ben, as i do for my son. We are each in a
situation where a true miracle has the opportunity to present itself to
so many. It is possible and it does happen. We all hear the stories. Why
not us and why not now. Continue to believe and I will too. I recently
saw a news broadcast stating that extra, virgin olive assists with the
reduction of high-grade tumors. It is the oleic acid it possesses. So

I have
spent the better part of 2 hours looking through Ben's pictures and your
family's daily messages. I prayed for many things very hard. I prayed
for a comfortable median to be reached for Ben's pain medication so he
can get sound rest. I porayed for the little girl Rachel and her speedy
recovery. I also prayed for your courage to believe your prayers will be
answered. Each picture I look at and each message I read seems to hit
home in some way. During this difficult time for you and your family
continue to freeze every moment in your minds and cherish them. Eli
seems to be quote an amazing young man in his own right. Your family has
been truly blessed with two angels from heaven. Stay strong and I will
continue to pray for your strength also. My heart hurts deeply for your
struggle.

Dearest
Bowen Family, just checking in to read your latest updates. I am at a
loss for words. It is hard to know the right thing to say when obviously
I have no idea how you must be feeling. Your Faith in God is such a
wonderful example to all of us. I loved in your prayer request that you
ask that we pray for Eli to know that he is loved equally. I am sure
your little boy knows just how much he is loved and I am sure that even
at his tender age he realizes what a special mommy and daddy he has.
Thank you for taking the time out of what I know must be a very tiresome
schedule to continue to share your story. It has been an inspiration to
me and thousands of others. God bless you and your family. His loving
grace will get you through this time and some sweet day the rewards of
Heaven will be yours eternally. Still praying, Patricia Scott

I wish
there were words that could lend you strength. I wish there were words
that could make all of the pain and suffering go away. But as we all
know there are no magic words - but there is an outpouring of love from
all of our families to yours. You are all loved. You are all prayed for.
God has a plan. We are believing with you all.

I know I
haven't posted in a bit, but I am still praying feverently for you guys
and I check the site at least daily. I pray for comforting, peaceful
rest in the strong and welcoming arms of the Lord. I place my hand over
your family photo on the computer screen, take a deep breath, let myself
relax completely and pray that somehow it is transmitted to you guys.

Dear
Bowen Family, We were "introduced" to you through Easton and parents.
Our 14 year old, Doug, has a brain tumor and is getting treatment here
in Orlando. Doug has taken a special interest in Ben. He was excited to
see him on a St. Jude appeal. Want you to know that we shared about Ben
on our website and that your journal, your story, your lives are
impacting us and our friends and giving us a vision of Jesus and of
heaven and a longing for eternity. Your choice to continue to believe
makes a difference. In His precious grace, Debbi DeCola (and Doug) To
see what was written about Ben on Doug's website, it was posted on
January 11, 2005. www.caringbridge.org/fl/Doug

Words
cannot convey the many feelings in my heart when I read Ben's story and
watched the slide show and listened to your song. It was almost like I
was reliving what we've been through with my grandson, Isaiah. I pray
that Ben will receive a miracle from the Lord and his tumor will be
healed. This is one time that I can honestly say "I know how you feel"
and I'll also be praying for comfort and peace of mind for your family.
