are truely an amazing boy. Because of you more people have turned to

Words
cannot express how deeply my heart aches for you. Your continued
testamony to your faith in the face of your trials is an example for all
to see. To face the death of a child has got to be the hardest trial for
any parent, but the added burden of seeing your child suffer cannot
possibly be expressed. I know that everyone who has come to know you,
either through Ben's story or in person would gladly do whatever they
could to take this off your shoulders. I marvel how you continue to find
rays of sunshine amidst the clouds of your days. God's sunlight shines
through Ben and is reaching the world. I continue to believe and pray
for all of you. Give our big hero a super big hug from me.

I am one
of the many people, I'm sure, that check on you numerous times a day,
but have not posted--at a loss for what to say. But, yesterday when I
was checking for updates for about the hundredth time, I realized
something. It finally hit me that I love this little boy, and his whole
family; and I've never even met you!! This made me realize that your
beautiful son and his story say it all and that words are not that
important. I know you know that many people are praying, giving all
their words to the Lord, but I also am proof that there are many others
that you don't know about. I can't wait to get my wristband and to wear
it proud for your family. It is truely an honor to be touched by your
story and my family and I will continue to talk to the Lord for peace
and comfort for your precious baby and all of you.

I wish I
could say something to take away some of the pain you are going through,
but I know that I can not. I can't say that I know what it's like,
because I don't. However, I do have 3 children of my own and I don't
know if I could be as strong your family is. Maybe one has to be put in
that position before assuming how one would act. I do want you to know

Jennifer, Eli and Ben: I'm not real sure how I found this page, but I am
so proud I have. I have spent the last week checking on Ben and praying
for him. WOW, what an impact on my life it has made. It was a life
changing moment. I have learned to take a day at a time and be happy.
Tom the way you and Jennifer walk in the faith everyday amazes me. I
have two children and would lay my life down for them. I have definitely
kissed and hugged my kids more than normal this last week. Tell Ben, he
has the world praying for him. Tell Eli, he is a cutie and tell

I just
wanted to share how the thought of Ben and your family specifically
changed my attitude today. My 16 month old son woke up sick this
morning, sounding horrible. My first thought was one of dread as I
thought about what the next few days would be like. My mood was not
good. Then God brought Ben to mind. Instantly my eyes filled with tears
and I immediately asked God to forgive me. Who am I to dread a few
sleepless nights and a cranky kid?! So now because of you, the Bowen
family, I am able to approach my day with graditude and thankfullness. I
can't tell you how thankful I am for your courage in sharing your story.
In the midst of your pain you are ministering to people all over the
world. What an awesome God we have...only He can take something that
seems so bad and use it to His glory. Today I am giving Him the glory as
my day is going so much better then it would have had I not been able to
think of Big Ben. I am praying for you guys, praying for Ben's comfort!

It was
good to see you yesterday, although I wish there was more that I could
do besides just bringing you your dinner. (By the way, I forgot Eli's
drink. It was still in my car when I got home - sorry.) You must be so
