I read
your second story in The Herald-Dispatch. WOW! It isn’t Ben’s Cancer
that draws us to pray. It is Ben and your family. People have Cancer
everyday and fight. Ben is unique and so is his fight. Whole hearted
loving his family and trusting God. A lesson for us all. We are bigger
then the things in life. Bigger then tests and hurdles given too us if
we choose the right path. God’s path. Ben teaches and shows us the way
but just being Ben. Never saying a word. Smiling watching us get our
priorities straight. I pray daily and check in daily on you guys.
Learning more about myself and life by seeing through Ben’s eyes. I
still believe! Peaceful dreams sweet Ben.

Bowen family, I, along with the whole United States, have been following
your story for months. It is truly both a heart wrenching and uplifting
story you are telling the world. My little brother's baby was diagnosed
with a Rhabdoid around the same time as Ben and so your story has been a
bit of a lifeline for us also. We are battling a second recurrance of
the tumor and are praying for miracles. Your strength and guidance is so

Dear
Bowens: I continue to check your site every day, though I find it
difficult to find the words to write in your guestbook. I am so sad when
Ben is feeling lethargic and when I read of your administering the pain
meds to keep him comfortable. I just believe that he is truly precious
and strong...when I read the news stories you just posted, I cried when
thinking of this precious boy with always a smile. What a miracle he is
in himself. I am still hoping and praying.

I have
just recently started following Bens story and it takes my breath away.
You have my prayers each day. I found the rhabdoid community thru
Chayton Anderson and his journey and battle with a Rhabdoid brain tumor.
There are so many sweet children going thru what Ben is, you all have my
prayers. I wondered if Ben and Tom have ever been on a commercial for St
Judes? I would swear I just saw them on one and had to ask....I know you
are big supporters of St Judes so possibly it could have been them.
Since I have just started reading your page I hadnt heard if you did one

Dear Tom
and family, I had the joy of meeting you back in 1993, at which time you
were a good friend to me and my daughter Rebecca. You were always there
when I needed a friend to talk to and I always knew you would do
wonderful things with your life. Although we lost touch with time, I
followed your inspirational journey with 9/11 at ground zero, and now
your son's battle with cancer. I have kept up with your story and as
much sorrow as you have had to deal with, your faith has always been
strong. I greatly admire your faith, and your testimony that God can
make wonderful things come of what may seem to be the worst of
circumstances. Thank you all for your devotion, courage, and the example
you have set for others. Ben's story will continue changing lives,
regardless of the outcome of this. You are in my thoughts and prayers
always. And I hope you have a happy holiday season with your loved ones.
