One of my
youth leaders at the First Baptist Church in South Point told us to pray
for Benjamin, and that she was a close friend. I was very sorry to hear
you had to preplan his funeral.My uncle sean was diagnosed with cancer
eight years ago.My grand mother also had to preplan his funeral. He has
now been in remission for six years. I am 12 years old and i live in
South Point, and go to church twice a week.God has really helped me
through tough times. I have faith that God will help you through this. I
have been praying for your son for three weeks. I would LOVE to meet
your son and hopefully I will. I don't know if you can , mabee you could
bring him to the first baptist church? I completely understand if you

Ben, at
Christmas we love Christmas Carol's. "Hark the Harold Angels Sing" has
become one of my favorite. Especially the third verse. We celebrate so
much at Christmas, and forget even as we are in Ministry as your Daddy
is that Jesus was "born that man no more may die." Christmas marks the
beginning of the end of physical death. It sounds like you will soon
meet a cousin of mine that through the closing hours of his life on
Earth just before Christmas a few years back, God used that song to
bring hope back into my life and ministry. Though I have not met you, I
pray that your time with your Mommy and Daddy will be very special these
days that mark the close of a chapter in your lives together on earth.
May you all experince the "peace that passes understanding" and the hope
of "faith to live by and faith to die by" that will carry each of you

Ben, I
will never forget the day that I first saw your picture and met your
Dad. It was December 4th, 2004. I was getting ready to run my first 1/2
marathon. I had been planning for this run for almost the whole year. It
was to be a physical and mental challenge for me, and also a social
weekend with friends. I picked the St. Jude's marathon because of the
location and the flatness of the course. I was ready and motivated when
the time came to run. It was all about me and what I could accomplish.
That all changed when I met your Dad and saw your picture. The things
that your Dad told me about you really touched my heart and changed my
life. The instant I saw your picture, the run was not about me anymore.
It was about you, and Ely, and your parents, and your friends, and all
the children and families that St. Jude's touches. My friends and I
pinned your picture to our shirts and looked at you when we ran. I ran
faster and better than I thought that I would and I concentrated on BIG
BEN while I was running. My medal is

Dear Ben-
I am Carson Braun's aunt and I met you and your family at St. Judes'
when I was visiting Carson and Cameron. What a cutie you are! It was
right before July 4th and you and Eli were all decked out in red, white
and blue. I want you to know that you are a very special little boy and
God put you here to touch many, many lives. I hold each of my children a
little tighter and appreciate the moments that we have together so much

I visit
your web site every morning and say a prayer for you and your family. At
first I would say WHY GOD but as I prayed for you God helped me to
accept that all that has happened is in his hands. I searched your
pictures trying to find a sad moment on your face. I never did. Even
with a mask covering that smile, a twinkle continued to show in your
eyes. Then I met you in person at our church. The smile was on your face
and a twinkle in your eyes. I often thought that God should put this
burden on an adults sholders but we could not carry the burden as well
as you and be the witness you have been. We grumble at the smallest pain
and inconvenience. I have been told that we have angels surrounding us
daily, watching over us, but, we as adults can not see them beacuse of
our lack of faith. However, it is said that the innocent faith of a
child is so abundant that they can see their angels. When I see your
twinkling eyes and a smile on your face, I know you see your angels as
they tease and play with you during your difficult

Jennifer and the gang, Like so many, we cannot imagine what you are
going through at this time in your life. It's one thing to describe and
explain it, it is something else altogether different to live it. Only
God knows your pain because He has gone through it when He offered His
son. I can only pray for grace and continue to believe with you know
matter how dark things look, for a mighty miracle from the Father. We do
not always know God's mind or ways; He even tells us that in the
scriptures. But we know that He who spoke all things into existence, can
curse that cancer and command that it be gone. I will continue to hang

Anthony Tuzzo's grandma,Anthony earned his wings 3/11/04 he had turned 2
yrs 1/20/04.The sorrow and pain is overwhelming,yet in our hearts we
know he's no longer in excruciating pain.Your family will be in my

I just
wanted to take a moment to let you know how Ben has influenced our
church. After our congregation met Ben back in November, so many of our
members have carried him with them in prayer on a daily basis. It
touches me so much to hear during prayer requests someone say "remember
Ben Bowen" before I can get the words out of my mouth. One elder lady
testified that Ben had brought her so much joy the evening she met him.
She had lost a daughter to ALL and she said that he reminded her so much
of her daughter. Many people during our discussions talk of how Ben has
taught them to pray with such sincerity and to look at hope in a new
meaning. Our pastor gets "hyped" at the mere words Ben Bowen. He says,
"I refuse to believe that cancer is going to take that baby, Church
don't you give up on him!" So many people get up first thing in the
morning and visit your website, and look at his picture while they pray.

heard today about Ben's tumor increasing in size and the horrible trauma
that you all had to face making the funeral arrangements. I just want to
