Dear Tom,
We receive the E mail updates on Ben from Becky Holmlund, she attends
our church and they are forwarded on our church prayer chain, I in turn
forward them on to family and friends who are following the updates on
Ben. I don't know what to say except I am praying for all of you that
God will give you all the peace that passes all understanding and that
only good will come out of your experience. I know God truly does answer
prayer. A little over a year ago we were holding our stillborn
grandaughter, Madeline, in our arms. Jenn, our daughter, delivered her
first baby at 32 wks. That day she stopped moving and her heart stopped
beating. A nursery that I had painted with butterflies and flowers would
remain empty. God promised me that day that within a year Jenn would
deliver a baby boy. I will never know why we lost Madeline, it made no
sense to me, but God was faithful and now we have a happy healthy little
grandson, Cameron. But the biggest blessing is seeing my daughter's joy
after all the tears. I pray tha

Big Ben,
I am amazed at your courage. I love your bright smile. Because of you
and your family I have learned to treasure each day more, love my
children more, and realize that my "trials" are really no big deal. I
thank God for sending you to this earth to touch my life and the lives
of many others. I love you! Cindy George

I met the
Bowen family last June when I was in Memphis for the St. Jude Collegiate
Leadership seminar. I am the Vice Director for the TCU UtD program. I
will always remember how happy Ben was when he spent the day receiving
multiple kinds of chemo. It made me think that even though he was just a
baby, he was so much stonger than me in many respects and I am a young
women of 20. I feel proud that I got to meet Ben, even if it was for 10
mins in Target house. I am also quite proud that y'all have shared your
story with everyone. It has given me great determination to work for the
hospital and kids with cancer because of your family. I dedicated this
year's UtD to Ben Bowen and also Ben Buck, another St. Jude kid that
sadly passed away in October. You two are the reasons why I work towards
the hospital. Thank you for your story and opening your life and family
to the world.

Dearest
Ben and the Bowen family: I want you to know that you are in my
thoughts, prayers and heart every single day. I am praying for a miracle
that will allow Ben to go on to live a complete full life and grow old
here on Earth. However, I also am a Christian and know that God will
heal you in his way, according to his will, whether it be on Earth, or
in heaven with a perfect body. Even though I haven't ever laid eyes on
you, I love you little boy, and wish you the best. You have made me
continue to realize how precious every single moment of every day spent
with my son is.......I am soooo glad your parents are Christians and are
of course teaching you and Eli about Jesus and how much he loves you. I
will continue to keep you, Eli and your Mommy and Daddy in my prayers.

Ben, You
are an amazing little guy! I know that you are actually a very Big brave
boy! You are a gift to and from God! I live in South Korea. I am a
friend of Hanna's cousin here. I check your site every morning, which is
your night. You encourage me to praise God for all the blessings he has
given you, and all the blessings I know he has given me. You remind me
to love every second with my two kiddos(Avery 5, Delynn 3.)You are an
encouragement to smile when life is tough and to keep my eye on the Lord
and give everything to him in prayer. Your story has reached around the
world and I am confident is impacting a lot of people. Most excitedly it
is impacting people for the Lord. I think you are a young evangelist in
your own way. I lift you up to the Lord every day, and thank him for the
gift of you! Tom and Jennifer, Thank you for your amazin gexample of
faith! You remind me to keep my mind on things above and not on earthly
things! God is good all the time. I truly believe that. I am sorry that
you are facing a difficult time right

Tom,
Please know that the words you share of your time with Ben, has helped
me to relize how important it is to use every second of every day to
express and to share my thoughts and feelings with my son. Thank you and
your family for allowing God to use you. My prayers are continuous for
Ben and your family. "He forgives all of our iniquities and heals all of
our diseases." May God bless Ben and your family.

Reared in
the South, and the daughter of a Southern Baptist Deacon, I spent many
evening in emotional uplifting tent revivals, etc... We all really felt
blessed when we worshiped with Billy Graham at least 2 or 3 times a
summer. Ben, I just want you to know that I have never felt more blessed
than when I go to your website and read about your courage and your
families faith. You have touch so many lives AND you have opened so many
doors for the rest of us. People who will not even discuss God or
Salvation will listen as we stand around and discuss how you are doing,
what your Dad has written in his update and how God is using you. We
could live to be a hundred years old and never scratch the surface of
the witness you have been. May this Christmas be as blessed to you as
you are to others.

Hello
Ben! I just couldn't quit thinking about you and your family today!
Praying for you. I thought I'd share the repeating verse of a poem that
I wrote a long time ago...I think it was just for you. "Like a father
rocks his child to sleep at night, My friend, God is holding you, Though
the skies grow dark, never give up the fight, For He has already walked
in your shoes... He never quits loving you. WE ARE ALL PRAYING FOR YOU
BEN! Psalms 121.

A smile
does say it all. Truely amazing. In such a short time, Ben, you and your
family have touched so many hearts and taught us so much. Thank you to
you and your family for having the courage and strength to share Ben's
Story. I have learned that we don't know what life has in store for us
and that we should cherish every second of everyday. I hold my girls a
little tighter, kiss them a little more and pray like I have not done in
such a long time. You have accomplished so much in your little life.
Tom, Jennifer, Eli and Ben you are all in our thoughts and prayers.
Cherish every moment as we now realize to do.

Hello
sweet Ben- I am a friend of Louie Hentz's and have been checking on you
and praying for you for months. I think of you so often and am in
constant awe at the strength, courage and faith that you and your family
represent. I feel as if I know you, by checking in on your pictures and
updates and my 2 year old and 3 year old often ask me "How's Ben?". I
ache for you and your family during this time and am still praying for a
miracle too. I want you to know that you have truly changed my life for
the better- I do try to take a step back and appreciate the little
things like you and your family so successfully do. You sound like an
absolute joy to be around. I often catch myself throughout the day,
incorporating you and your family into my conversations and thoughts. I
pray for your comfort and spirit and want you to know that you Have made
this world a better place. Sincerely, Kristin Kennedy
