and family.... over this past year, you have taught me so many things.
That life is not yesterday or tomorrow or even what we want tomorrow to
be... it is TODAY. And my job is to take today and honor God with it....
you've taught me that nothing that happens in this life without a
reason... that our lives affect other lives upon lives upon lives, and
the power in this truth is mind-boggling. You have given me perspective
beyond compare... a perspective that will always be with me. You have
shown me how peace can be found even in the worst circumstances by
taking God's hand and trusting that He knows what he is doing despite
the storm. You have made me want to be not just a good person, but an
extraordinary person. Your story has demonstrated that you are ALL
incredible, special people.... but most of all, it has demonstrated the

God
permitted His only Son to suffer and die. For anyone on this earth,
living or dead, who ever heard the name of Jesus, God's purpose was
clear. In the same way, anyone who has ever heard the name of Big Ben
Bowen knows that God's purpose is clear. Jesus is the Way to salvation,
but surely Ben's life is a sign along the path. The illness which has
brought Ben so close to God, has also brought his family and all of us
with him. When you ask why, surely the answer is faith and love. Every
life has the same value, long or short, provided that our faith and love
bring us all, together, to eternity. Peace be with you.

have never had any Children of my own. But I have alot of special
grandchildren that I have claim. One special one her daddy in jail and
has been since she was 4 months old. I told someone the other day I
don't know what I done for God to have gave me the last year and half
with her but I have learn to count my blessings. I beleive that I have
held her closer by know what you are going through. So thank you for
sharing your story and I do beleive we have guardian angels so if you
get to pick in heaven who you want to be a guardian angel over I would
be honor for you to b Kira guardian angel. Cause I really beleive she
will need an angel in her life someday. But we are still beleiving that
you will be the biggest mirale people on this earth has ever seen,cause
I beleive God is still going to heal you.

You have a smile that lights up any room you are in. Cancer has deeply
affected my life and almost every member of my family that has passed on

I have
never signed Bens guest book before but I check on him
everyday....Through Bens Story I feel I have become a better mom, I look
at my kids and feel so blessed to have 4 healthy amazing children, you
as parents have been so graceful through your words and makes me realize
all the day to day things I used to get so upset about are not such a
big deal....and most of all Bens story has brought me closer to god, I
talk to him everyday praying for miracles for Ben and all children of

absolutely touched by this site. I am a very lucky mom of a healty,
active 7 mth old son named Alexander (Xander). We are friends with Sara
Barker; her daughter is Micah- a cancer survivor of St Jude. You are
absolutley blessed to have such beautiful boys! It makes me feel even
closer to my son having read your story. I sit here openly crying after
reading Big Ben's story. It's so easy to say "It's God's will" when it's
someone else. I can not imagine what you have been through. I pray that

Ben! What a remarkable young man you are. You are so very luck to have
such wonderful and faithful parents too. Ben, everyday that you wake up
fighting, smiling or not, you are a survivor! I hope you and your

daughter, Theresa. I suppose my tears are coming from many places....
one is just knowing the cross that you and your family is having to
bear.... another is the tears of joy seeing you beautiful face... and
the third is rather selfish, knowing that I have raised three incredible
girls who are now incredible women... and knowing that they and my 4
grandkids (soon to be 6) have been blessed with wonderful parents and

and Family, I can not even begin to tell you how Ben's life has changed
mine. I have followed your story for a couple of months. Until I began
to follow your life story I hadn't prayed for a long time, I took every
day with my two boys for granted. God has a plan for all of us and I
believe the light in Ben was put there by God to shine out and show the
whole world that He is here, ever present in our lives. I do not know
your family personally but I am so proud of all of you, your whole
