There are
no words that can be said that would be sufficient at this time, except
God be with you. I can not imagine what you must be going through. I
wish that it didn't have to be, but I do believe that God is using this
to touch many lives. I do not know that I could be as strong as you
appear. As I sat tonight rocking my son to sleep, I thought about how no
parent should have to even think about losing a son... I know that I
cannot bear thinking of it...but then I thought of how God freely gave
His Son. I don't know, that until that moment, it had ever really
ocurred to me how difficult it must have been for God to send his Son
into the world to die for our sins. I cannot comprehend. Know that I've
never met you, but I love you all and my heart breaks for you as if you
were family-- but then again you are my brothers and sisters! It is so
good to hear that you are enjoying every moment. I found myself thinking
about how you must spend your days cherishing each moment, memorizing
each smile, and joying in the everyday parenting

wisdom you ask for is available from our Father who loves you all more
than any of us ever could hope to. May His everlasting love and strength
hold you up and comfort Ben through this time. If God was still
recording events to place in His scriptures, I believe we would read,
"Ben Bowen a man who brings honor and glory to God". He may be a child
but has been used to bring honor to His Father more than most men. Still
praying for mercy and grace to fill his life.

sad to hear about the news of bens tumor doubling in size. I continue to
pray every night for Ben. He is a strong little boy and deserves the
world. Just remember how strong he is, and how much he has overcome.

I'm sorry
to hear of the news. A bunch of workers from the calling center in New
Albany Indiana for St. Jude wanted to let you guys know that Wednesday
morning when you guys walked past alot of us we would have loved to tell
you that we knew of your story and just say stay strong, but for reasons
beyond our control we were unable to say anything to you. So for you
guys the 2 ladies that watched you walk up to the hospital doors and was
just staring and smiling at your beautiful family wanted espically to
let you guys know to stay strong because alot of prayer warriors are
praying hard for your BIG BEN. Stay strong Bowens be brave; you are in
our hearts and prayers.

I heard Ben's story from Michael w. Smith...I just spent the day at the
pediatric cardiologists office, checking on a heart valve hole, after an
ASD repair with a titanium implant. The horror of what you are going
through, along with the grace God is giving you is astounding. I just

Jennifer, Eli and Ben: I am from Wolfchase Galleria and I took Ben and
Eli's pictures with Santa Claus one Tuesday night in November. I check
your website daily and Ben is constantly on my mind. No words can
describe my feelings when I read about Ben's MRI reading. My heart and
prayers go out to Ben and to the entire family. Ben is truly a TROOPER.
My prayers are with you, Tom and Jennifer, as you have many, many
decisions to make in the future. No parents should ever have to go
through something like this with a child, but the two of you are a Tower
of Strength. I consider myself honored to have personally met Ben, Eli
and you two at the Mall. Your website has been such an inspiration to

Bowens, It seems as if I am running out of things to say...though I have
never met your family I have grown to love you all through this site.
Your strength and courage have touched my heart in more ways than I
could have ever imagined. Ben is one of the most special little boys I
know I have ever witnessed- isn't it amazing, the blessings the Lord
gives us! My heart is absolutely breaking right now that Ben is going
through this rough time. I wish there were some magical words I could
say to take it all away. I do still believe... I know God has a plan,
not only for Ben but for your whole family! There is a wonderful song we
sing at church called a winner either way- and I truly believe that
describes Ben perfectly! If he does not won this battle he will win the
glory of Heaven and if he does beat this tumor... he wins the love of a
