months we have prayed for and with you. Today and in the days ahead we
will continue to pray for you. In your words from a previous post - Ben
has now run to Jesus and with Jesus there is no pain, no suffering, no
disease. There are no words that I can give you that will provide
comfort for you loss. But know that we and many others grieve with you
for the loss of the Brave Warrior who changed countless lives with his

Just
heard about Ben from Brett Brady's mother. My prayers are with you and
your family. We lost our granddaughter, Lexi, in December to this
horrible disease and so understand the overwhelming pain that fills your
days and nights. Knowing that they are with our Lord helps some but the
smallest memory triggers the tears and the hurt of the loss. At this
point, knowing that they no longer are hurting seems to be the ony
positive thing. As you heal, I hope you are able to cherish all the good
timies Ben shared with you and hold those close to your heart. God bless
you all.

everyday I would log on to see how Big Ben was. May he rest in peace as
a angel in heaven and may his memory never fade from the millions of
people he has touched. To the Bowen family may God guide continue to

Jennifer, and Eli, Our hearts are with you as they have been since we
first saw Ben's story. I wrote this poem after I read about Ben this
morning. May God continue to bless you: Ben was born in November 2002
and was a beautiful little boy. He was here only a short time, but to
many he brought great joy. He had an infectious smile that hid his pain
and sorrow. He was a child of God that brought awareness to help another
see a tomorrow. Ben's story was shared with thousands of people; most of
whom he hadn't met. Most only knew him through the media, with stories
we will never forget. Ben was an Angel of God stronger than most grown
men. For the hearts he made bigger and stronger, I say Thank You BIG

escape me. Yet, I just know Ben is safely back in our Lord's arms where
it is a familiar and most loved place of his. But I mourn for you, his
parents, and his sweet brother Eli. For you I will continue my prayers
for peace and acceptance. This little stranger to me will be with me for

I have
been following Ben's story for a long time now. Even though we have
never spoke to each other I feel like we have known each other for
years. I am really sorry for the loss of your son. I am going to miss
Big Ben myself. He has given me the best gift, God. He has taught me to
put my faith with him and he will take care of the rest. Cancer is a big
monster, and why does it occur in children? Ben taught me that God has

I came
across your website through some other caringbridge websites. I've been
following Ben's story for about 2 weeks, touching my computer screen and
praying for your family and your Brave Warrior. I know you will cherish
your 27 months with Ben, that you will always have him with you. What a
wonderful family reunion you will have when you get to be together again
in God's Kingdom. Ben's story has made me love my 4 children more, play
with them more, and cherish my time with them. Thank you for your
transparency in this difficult journey... I think of Ray Boltz's song,
"Thank You." He sings of a man going to heaven and meeting people whose
lives were changed because of his acts on earth. I imagine the same for
Big Ben and your family. May God grant you peace, rest and joy in these
