about your brave little boy from WSAZ. It seems to me he is the bravest
little boy there is. I hope the best for you and think about Ben
constantly as I proudly wear his BIg BEN braclet. I have also sent one
to my little sister who lives in Florida for her to share the story of
Ben and his wonderful character. I'm praying for you and think of you

Tonight
my prayer for you is to experience some peace. That may come from a pain
free night or just a good sleep for all of you. Through tough times I
have learned that to make it a little easier, just focus on the next
moment. Don't stray to far because it saps you of your strength. Our son
James is in Iraq. Jerry and I realize that there is absolutely nothing
WE can do to keep him safe. It's difficult for a parent to be powerless.
However, we know that God will be with him and we rely on that. Just as
you are dealing with your powerless state, I know that God is sitting
there with you. Tom, Jennifer, Eli and Ben, this note is written for you
with love and prayers.

Dear
Bowen family, my thoughts and prayers are with you. Through all your
pain and sorrow you are still helping others by telling Ben's story.
Your son is a very strong and brave boy that has touched many lives of
people who have not even met him. God bless this young child and family.
And I pray that you all will always keep your faith and continue to
believe. God's faith will always get you through. I could not imagine
how difficult this road has been for all of you. I will look at my son,
family and life differently. When i read Ben's story and updates I want

I was at
the mall today to pick up my Big Ben band, and while I was on my way I
stopped in other shops and looked around and was pleased to see almost
everywhere I turned someone had on their Big Ben band! It brings joy to
my heart to see people thinking of him and helping fight the war of
cancer! I pray that the Lord continue to be with you all, peace, rest,
strength and love. "The He that is in me is greater then the he that is
in the world."

Dear Tom,
Jen, Eli and most especially Big Ben, Every day, so many of us get up
and go about our ordinary lives with our ordinary "just livin' life"
kind of problems, never fully realizing the impact of Ben's illness on

I became
interested in BIG BEN when my kids ages 11 and 14 wanted a band. I then
saw his story on the news and my heart sank. My daughter's friend Shane
died from leukemia and he suffered with it his whole life and for only a
short three months our little town of Ironton suffered right along with
him and his family I love that family and I learned a lot from his
mother how strong one can be when faced with being strong. I just wanted
to say that you are blessed first of all with this precious gift and he
is touching people and changing lives and I would say too that a lot of
time people hate where they live and now you can feel I'm sure what a
giving and loving community we have in this tri-state area. I am also a
nursing student at Ohio University Southern and I have passed on the
word and website and we appreciate your willingness to let us learn from
the infor on the chemo drugs and tumor etc. I pray for a pain free night
and ask that our Irontons finest angel will watch over Ben tonight from
heaven Shane #45 NEVER GIVE UP!

ago I lost my beloved sister. She had a very difficult life, much
sickness and pain. Even though she was not my child she was as close to
me as she could have possible been. My prayers are with you in these
difficult days, yours has been a far greater battle than I can even
imagine. Many many times I ask myself the questions why was she ever
even born to have had to live and die as she did, but then God reminds
me of his Son and that her life mattered more than most will ever
understand. Your Ben has touched so many people and no doubt lead many
to Christ, he has done more in his few years than many will ever even
try to do. I know his story has touched my heart. God bless and keep you
all.

i just
wanted to share this. because of Ben i am now a volunteer at the St Jude
Children Cancer Center of Lebanon. thank you Ben for changing my life
and giving it a new meaning. Ben i will always pray for you, Eli thank
you for reminding me that when we want help or we are sad we must always
pray for God and let Him know what we want. Eli you are the best brother
that Ben can have. you are his guardian angel on earth. i know it is
