I wear my
BIG BEN wrist band each day and send a silent prayer up to heaven with
each passing glance. You have "changed" my life. Your story and
couragous, loving, and faithful ways have helped me to see that God as a
much bigger purpose for me. I long for the day I can be an active
participant in curing and caring for sick children along with their
families (as I will start med school in the fall). As always you'll be
in my thoughts in prayers. May God bring Ben peace and give you
continued strength to care for both your boys during this trying time.

Hi Ben
and Family. I had heard your story on the radio during the WIL 92.3 St.
Jude fundraiser last week. Since then I have been following your story
and saying many prayers for you. I wanted to let you all know that St.
Louis raised over $550,000 for St. Jude's to beat cancer. Six people in
my family have had cancer and I would love to see this monster beat more
than anyone and I will remain a Partner in Hope until it is. God Bless
you all.

amazed at how Ben is enduring so much. Yet I can see how in his
endurance he is helping to teach Doctors and nurses just what they can
and cannot do for another child that may walk this road in times to
come. Your a brave little man Ben and yes you have changed my life. I
have a little grandson who has RSV and this morning in prayer I
remembered you and your parents and instead of being "upset and
wondering why" I asked God how he was going to use this illness to help
our family grow, like Ben's family has grown. Thank you for sharing this
most difficult time in your life...God is using each one of you to speak

I am
praying for the Bowen faimly everyday and praying for Ben. He is a tough
little guy and his smile makes everyones day better and makes us realize
that life is really important and you should live it to your full extent

fighting cancer too. I thought of Ben when I read this passage. "Peace I

I Just
want to say that your Big Ben is the most handsome little guy and seems
like such a wonderful son. I dont understand why this keeps happening to
these children. I hope that he is peaceful right now and not in pain. I
cant imagine what you are all going through and I hope I never do. I
have been following Big Ben for several months, but I never post. It is
hard to know what to say. Not a day goes by that Ben is not in my
thoughts. Bens story is a very powerful one and I have learned so much
from it. I am a different person because of it. I am a mother of 7
children and I am a better mother and wife than I ever was before. I
just wish that it didnt take a story like Bens to make me realize how
precious our lives and families are. Thank You Ben for making a
difference in our lives. What a special little guy you are! What a

us that the Lord never gives us more than we can bear. Just remember
that He is there for you to cast your cares on and draw strength from.
He is holding your hand through everything. I can relate to your story
as I am struggling through cancer with my own father. I first learned
about Ben from my daughter who is a student of Bev O'Dell's at Nitro
High. She updates my daughter daily. Ben has made such a huge impact on
